Hey, just a PSA Steam is being really odd, as I can see other people's balance and stuff when I go into my own wallet on Steam. I think it'd be best to postpone any kind of gifting or buying until this is rectified.

Yeah, I just posted over in the sales thread. Currently Steams cache server is caching pages it shouldn't be after the downtime earlier today. The store page is frequently in random language, cart contents seem to be what a random person had in their cart, clicking on the wallet takes you to a random persons account page although card details should be safe beyond the last 4 digits.

With Steam being extra wonky today, anyone who wants to delay draws or deliveries until it stabilizes should do so.  No need to declare that you're delaying; I think everyone will know what's up.

The situation with Steam now appears to have been resolved, and Steam should be fully back up.

Steam community mod post on the issue.

Confirmation that it wasn't a hack and card numbers and phone numbers were not exposed.
