One Survivor of Many (Interactive Storytelling Game)

One Survivor of Many

This is an interactive storytelling game where your character is the luckiest person alive. Think of it as a RTD where you always roll a 6. I will take actions you suggest and apply them to the story. Your suggestions may be as silly or as serious as you want. The only limit on your actions are they must be possible for a human to do, so no becoming God or getting magical powers etc. But suggestions involving crazy action-movie stunts etc. are perfectly fine. Without further ado, let's get this started!

You wake up with a stinging feeling in your arm. You look down and see a syringe pulling itself out of your flesh. You look up and see through your foggy eyes that you are in a cage. There are other cages on all sides: Above, below, right, left, and in front. But behind you is a slightly curved metal wall. You have no idea how you got here. The last thing you remember is... nothing!? In each cage is another human, all of them naked. They are waking up and looking around too. Just like you, none of them seem to remember how they got here. You examine the front of your cage and see that the front panel is on hinges and locked with some sort of electrical lock.

You swing back your hand, and hit the lock as hard as you can. Your hand explodes with pain, but nothing looks broken. You inspect the damage to the lock, and see that the metal panel had become loose. You grab it with your good hand and yank it off. Inside, there are 3 wires, a red, black, and green one. Some red led's inside the lock start flashing. At the sound of your hit, the other people in the cages begin to frantically shake their cages and batter their doors as well.

Take one end of the red wire, and one end of the black wire, and switch them around, that should reverse the current and open the lock

You squeeze your fingers into the small panel, and rip off one end of the red and black wires. You then set them criss crossed so they switched positions. You hear a click, and your cage door swings open a few inches before gently hitting another cage. Everybody in the room starts screaming "How did you do that" and other questions.

You say to the group, "I'll tell you only if you swear alligience to me, the God-Emporor of Humanity!" Some of them nod their heads frantically, others scoff at you, and one person says, "what good is it if you can open a lock if you can't even get out anyways?"

Speaking of lowest intelligence, that reminds me of the fact that it's probably your first time in prison. Don't worry, I can give you some tips, having spent some time in a few myself. The best way to make friends here is to drop the soap during shower time. Try it, I'm sure you'll love making friends like that!

Hey, you've been missed in the mafia subforum! Have you chacked your Pm's?

You look around for whoever said those words, but you are still traped in your cage. The door is open a few inches, but maybe you could push it open if you try hard enough.

"Observe, non-believers!"

Try to get the gate open.

In your deepest voice, you boom, "Observe, non-believers" And you push against your door with all your might. Slowly, the cage in front of you screeches to the side, and your door is opened far enough for you to squeeze out. Once out of your cage, you take a closer look at the enviroment. You all appear to be inside a large metal tube. You can't see the back end, but there is one end rather close to you. On that circular wall, is a lit red light by the word "wait" and an unlit green light next to the word "jump" You take a closer look at the cages, and see a tightly packed mat of cloth over each one. The inhabitants again have mixed reactions to your exodus. Some start cheering, some fall face flat facing you, and one man, a big man, says, "now what, you got out of one cage, and into a larger prison. Congratulations."

"Join me, and the path forward will be made clear!"

Tell them how to get out of their cages.

You say to the group, "Join me, and the path forward will be made clear!" You then explain how you got out. A few try to heed your advice, and you hear many cries of pain and a few cries of ambulance. But the large man continues scoffing at you, "now where is this "path" you were talking about?" As if on cue, the green "jump" light starts blinking, and a hairline crack of light appears on the bottom of the metal tube, across the entire distance. Slowly, the crack gets larger and larger. Cages begin crumbling down, and the people at the bottom start screaming. Cages start tumbling around you, and you start falling towards the crack, which would soon be big enough to let an entire cage fall through./i]

You grab onto the nearest cage, which has a terrified woman inside. The first of the cages fall out of the bottom, and the rest soon follow suit. You are scraped, and banged countless times before you finally get free of the opening. Once outside, you look up and see a very large aircraft and the last few cages falling out of its underbelly. Underneath you, there is just air for miles, and then a small island with a volcano at the center. The cages slowly spread out in the wind, but they stay pretty close together. The woman begins screaming more and pushing, trying to get you off.
