Alright, how does point-buy work in 5e? As in, how many points to spend?

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

27 point buy standard. The link to the 5e calculator in the OP has all you need, it'll even include your race.

I've never played D&D before, but I've been interested in playing it for a while now.

I'll probably make a ranger.

How do you calculate the "Attack" section of the weapons section?

Edit: And passive perception?

Passive Perception is just your WIS bonus, plus any other bonuses.

Weapons use either DEX (for light and ranged weapons) or STR (everything else), plus your proficiency bonus.

Umm, there doesn't appear to be an icon with the Life domain. Do I need to go godless then?
On that note, the Icon's domains seem to be 3.5, not 5e.
They are in fact the domains from when they were 3.5, they've just not been updated. Here, they're just more themed suggestions. I'm pretty chill about what Icon you worship as long as it isn't too silly.

Basically:
I think they were less domains and more 'polite suggestions'.

---

How do you calculate the "Attack" section of the weapons section?

Your proficiency bonus and your relevant stat bonus (i.e str for melee, dex for for range and light)

Old and cringe account. Disregard.

And if that isn't enough, mythweavers seems to be down for the moment :(

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Is that so? I'm working on my sheet right now.

I'll let you choose for me players, paladin or priest?

I vote Paladin, since Tyrar is already making a Cleric.
