So I guess you guys don't have an introduction/leaving thread  here… or maybe you do, and I was too lazy to check. Anyways, the Introduction/Leaving Thread is for telling your fellow forumers if your going inactive for a little while, or if you're an annoying newbie like me who is introducing herself to the forum, hence the name Introduction/Leaving Thread.

Well, there's only two reasons why you're here. One is that you've stopped lurking on the upper Dwarf Fortress boards to discuss about the game; second is that you came here after discussing some real life general discussions and think you can stay over.

As for staying over, most of Bay12 is friendly, although DF discussions in general are exclusive to the upper boards and this is more about discussing about real life fads, and/or forum games further down the index.


As for me... I used to be active but I'm pretty much firmly on the hiatus-ghost status.

I also believe there was an intro thread somewhere... but nothing that's too formal.

All I see is an old man handling some wood, touching his wood on another wood (which he considers inferior). Then he penetrates into a kitchen full of young kids of varying ages and sex manually handling wood, and then he is surprised as a white substance is spilled around the air close to his face.

All I can say is that this old man's wood is certainly impressive, perhaps even arousing!
