Rose waits for him to walk out of earshot before sighing and wiping the sweat off of her brow. "****head!" she exclaims, sounding much more relieved than angry. "Did you see the way that he was looking at me? I felt like my skin was going to melt off. Strider seems pretty hard, huh?" With her usual good-humour returning, she adds with a grin, "He's also really tough on the students too."

Goldy looks around at her teammates and shrugs.
"I'm Goldy Teef, with an F, and I bite. Nice meeting you guys."

"I'm... not quite sure who he is, besides apparently the combat class instructor, but considering my first impression of him was him saving my life, I rather like the man."

"Ah, I remember you telling me about that. It's a good thing that he was there for you when you needed him. Anyways, we should go grab our stuff and check out our room. We'll have plenty of time to talk on the way."

Max is startled as a pigeon suddenly lands on his shoulder, inside the building.

The pigeon flew behind Max, onto the shoulders of a man.
He was tall with a large build, his face dirty and shaggy, with an oriental structure, and his eyes dark. He had hair and a large beard, as well as thick muscles. He wore a tunic in the Haven Academy colors, and he seemed very calm.
 "Careful who you fly to, little birdie," he said, his words few yet carrying some wisdom in them. He then looked to Max, "My apologies."
Goldy sniffed out for food, and she found the motherload. The cafeteria smelt delicious, and students slowly began to fill the seats as they ate their lunch on the metallic tables and benches.

Goldy rushes to get a plate full up with red meats and fish. It's been a while since she's had them.

"Indeed! I have my stuff," and here Fontanne raised the little bag of clothes that she had had Rose bring her, "...but I suspect your things are still on the tiltjet, yes?"
Fontanne started to walk ahead towards the tiltjet, gesturing in its direction as she moved towards it.

Rose watches Jet run off to grab food from the cafeteria and then shrugs. If Jet wanted to get something to eat while everyone else in her team went on without her, that wasn't Rose's concern. "No, I have got all of my stuff with me," she says to Fontanne. "It's not much, honestly. Just a change of clothes while the rest of my stuff should arrive sometime today or tomorrow. It was easier than bringing it all with me. What about you, Em?"
