Nathan continued, nearly finding nobody until he saw a light in the distance. Slowly moving towards it into the bush, he peeked out to see the blonde girl on the tiltjet starting a fire with the long gauntlet on her arm.
 "Get some firewood too."

Oh, thank God! Just as the sun was setting, too! "Um, hello?"

Cobala turned towards the new voice, her blue eyes shining in the fire's flicker. Visibly elated, she was pleased to hear a new voice.
 "Hello. I take it the sounds of fighting was you?"

Nathan walks out of his bush scratching the back of his head. "Uh, yeah, heheh. I'm Nathaniel. Nathaniel Paulter of the Paulter Corporation!" he says with but hint of pride. "But, uh, call me Nathan. What's your name?"

 "You can call me Cobala. Cobala Halkias. Just remember," she said with a smile, "In the wild, title doesn't matter."

As the night carried on, people fell to slumber inside their makeshift slumbers. Those who stayed the night guard would hear unhuman howls and rustling in the bushes, feeding their paranoia of another attack. Thirst gnawed at their throats, the longing for water finally sated as it began to rain heavily in the middle of the night.

Their eyes opened from instinct as a slip of light passed through the dark clouds overhead, rain still pouring heavily upon the jungle. Their first night has passed, but a long and wet day was ahead of them.

Goldy, for her part, was quite happy with the weather's change, dancing around in the water and occasionally cupping her hands to get a drink of it.
