The jungle is difficult to see because the flora is too thick, and the canopy is dense and high.

"Ohhhh, just a monkey, not a Grimm, that's a relief. Still, not all that useful. There has to be someone around here, or a high spot where I can see the oth..."
She trailed off and looked up at the tree, which she promptly attempted to climb, putting Calabrum on her back.

She climbed up the tree; it was definitely a tall tree, but from below the canopy she couldn't see anything, and even above the canopy she couldn't make anything out.

Goldy pokes her head back into the clearing.
"We are in fact in a jungle judging by the thick canopy!"
With that said, Goldy jumps down onto the ground to scout the jungle on foot. She silently contemplates how at least back in Vacuo she could just look around from a hill to scout. But it wouldn't have been nearly so colorful... and wet. Good thing she wore her gold clothes today. Which is silly since those are her only color of clothes.

Jet also goes the 'tree' route, although it's mainly to find any other people.

Nathan looks around, putting on his smoked glasses again, as he shoved them into one of his coat pockets to protect them from the fall.
"Wow, they really want to drop us into our first mission immediately and literally. How exciting!" he says, looking around again.
... After a beat, Nathan appears to realize he is alone in a jungle, and reacts accordingly.
"Oh crap, why did they have to isolate us? Aren't we supposed to stick together as Huntsmen or something like that?!" He gazes at a nearby bird suspiciously.
Drawing Spectral Shell, Nathan begins to wander around, looking for someone, anyone else.

"Again," Fontanne sighed, "Nothing."
Oh well, Fontanne knew she couldn't stay up here and mope, so she once again began to climb back down. She wanted to find someone soon: She was going to dry off eventually, and she didn't want to face a Grimm alone without that extra boost... especially a Nevermore. She shuddered a little, before starting to wander around to look for someone again.

Goldy began to look through the dense brush, passing through, under, and over the netting of vines so abundant in this place. Suddenly, in the isolated darkness, she felt the feeling as if something were watching her.

It seemed that Nathan was fruitless in his journey, as if he was the only one in this part of the jungle. Already the vegetation is nearly so thick its uncrossable, and seeing through it was nearly an impossible task.

"Again," Fontanne sighed, "Nothing."
Oh well, Fontanne knew she couldn't stay up here and mope, so she once again began to climb back down. She wanted to find someone soon: She was going to dry off eventually, and she didn't want to face a Grimm alone without that extra boost... especially a Nevermore. She shuddered a little, before starting to wander around to look for someone again.

Moving to the west, Fontanne saw a figure in the distance with wolf ears; that must be Max.

"Hello? Is anyone there? Anyone?!" After a while, Nathan starts to head back where he came. If he keeps walking, he has to find someone eventually, right?

Gregory says turning towards [Em].
