Rose gently nudges Fontanne. "And you fight up close and personal too. Ideally with plenty of water around." If Strider wasn't so deadly serious, she'd probably make a joke about fighting 'dripping wet' too. Rose knows better than to say something so stupid in front of him.

Mr. Strider took a final huff of his cigarette before snuffing it in its ashtray. He chuckled, moving a finger up to adjust his glasses as the class fell into silence.
 "...Good, then, and I hope you really are used to your team right now. Because you all have been assigned your first mission. After classes are over, I need to see your team leaders for a briefing. For now, I want team FERR and MGNT on the battlefield, against each other; your ranking starts today."

Rose is already by Fontanne's side and so merely waits for the group huddle to begin. "So what's the plan? Pair off against a single person on their team and try to not get pounded too hard?" She is obviously throwing out something silly just because she can and not offering actual advice.

"Oh boy.. can't wait to blast some peeops," Dismas idly remarked as he got up, leaning against the railing with his team.
 "This should be good," Jasmine said with a chuckle. She glanced at Fontanne, and gave her a nod.
"Let's start our strategy," Amber said, and the team went to huddle together.

"What a show this will be. Good luck, Goldy!" Brass said, giving Goldy a wave as she stepped down. His other three teammates glanced down, silently watching.
