Jet gets up straight away, then gets down on the floor to do maybe a hundred pushups.

-TIME SKIP TO FIRST PERIOD-

12 students filed into the Combat room, a brightly lit room with a small arena-like architecture. In the center of the room is a medium-sized pit and all around above the elevated wall are seats, the walls and floor of the combat room metallic. Towering in front of the rows of the students of team JADE, MGNT, FERR, and DAMN is Mr. Garrett Strider, his eyes hovering over each student, gauging them in every aspect. He then spoke, his voice heard throughout the entire room:
 "Welcome, children, to combat class. As you probably already know, my name is Garrett Strider. Call me whatever you want. So, for your first assignment..."

~What?~
 "...attack me. All of you. Come on, have at it!" he said as he lit a cigarette, putting it between his lips and huffing it.

 "What?" Dismas said in confusion.
The team leader of team DAMN, a dark-haired boy in black leather jacket, stood up and drew what appears to be a compound Assault Rifle Blade.
"Heh," he chuckled, shaking his head, "Twelve against one? You're biting off more than you can chew, Mr. Strider."
"Am I? Hurry up, I haven't got all day."

[SOLDIER First]

((DELICIOUS CURBSTOMP IMMINENT))

On that cue, Nathan wakes up from his half-asleep state. "I... huh. I'm not sure I'm entirely certain about this..."

Gregory Cracks his knuckles and waits for a good time to strike.

Goldy shrugs and launches herself into the air, coming down on Mr. Strider in an axle kick, activating the earth dust on her leg when she hits something.

[Powder Miner]

"Riiight..."
Fontanne waits a second so she can attack JUST after Goldy, pouring Aura into Calabrum in an attempt to get past his defenses, before moving to hop back again.
Move at Strider, and use Calabrum's Legacy on him, then move back if at all possible.

The entire class launches at Mr. Strider, attacking him constantly from every direction. Suddenly, iron seemed to coat his skin, rendering every attack onto him undamaging.
 "Interesting..." he remarked with a nod. Then, Fontanne lunged at him, her sword glowing brightly as Strider looked in interest. Her blade touched his iron skin, and seemed to glow even brighter at the point of contact as Mr. Strider quickly batted it away, forcing it out of her hand with a slam of his suitcase.
 "Alright, enough," he said, glancing at Fontanne with a curious look, "Alright, that was your pretest, so I know what you all do. I think I have some good guess now as to your combat capabilities."

"I didn't get to fight...."

"Well, that was exciting!"

Jet looks disturbed, and immediately bows and apologises.

Goldy looks around.
"That was it?"

 "Yep, that was it. Okay, your instructions now are simple," he said before snapping his fingers; multiple bullseye-like targets floated into the arena, as well as metallic dummies.
 "This time, show me what you really got. I like to see what my students are capable of, and I'm sure you all want to know as well."

[Bluexdog]

"This will be fun" Max start hitting the dummies with a flaming staff

 "Fire, I see... eh, not the best," he shrugged, not overly impressed by Max's semblance.
