Russell, Nila, and Rezart arrive at the oasis. The water looks fairly clear and clean. A couple trees make shade along the waterfront. It's about the size of a small pond.

Argent, taking his own advice, shoots it and does a Dust inventory.

Melodia looks up at Winter, then to Reynard.

Sienna rocket jumped, turning her weapon into its prime state as she creates multiple explosions behind her to boost her speed to blurring levels to strengthen her blow; she then proceeds to attempt to whack the giant creature's head with an explosive and momentum powered strike of her hammer, infused with red dust.

Reynard does switch the Sands' form and prepares himself.

"Deaf. Blind. Feels its prey by vibrations in the sand... but shield me for a minute or two. I got something lined up. But hey, sand dude- Reynard. Get your sword out, and get ready to fly."
Winter looks to be readying a white glyph.

"Hm....I could do something with that my Semblance. Give me a moment, and cover your ears!"

Argent, presumably hearing this, does indeed cover his ears.

Reynard follows suit.

Prim skates across the ground, having snapped out of her mind break, with her gauntlets glowing a bright red, "I'm about to teach you not to mess with the Calhoun's!" As soon as she get's close enough, she launches a red hot sand covered punch, aimed at the bulbous red tail.

Orchid sinks into the shadows again, unsure why the creatures insides would be so tough.

"Alright, lets rest here for a bit, yeah?"

"Alright, I did warn you guys to cover your ears!"
Melodia braces herself in the sand, standing with her legs firmly in the ground and facing the ground. She immediately pops on a pair of noise-cancelling headphones.

Breathing in deeply, Melodia then opens her mouth and yells.

Most yells aren't nearly as deadly or as loud as that of a girl whose very Semblance is noise.

The yell is wordless and powerful. Those who had prepared feel their bodies tremble with the force of the sound coming from her mouth.

The yell should be loud enough to temporarily deafen anyone who hasn't covered their ears or isn't Melodia until their Aura repairs their eardrums; hence, Melodia's warning. However, the Raker is immune to her yell- but no matter, the sheer amount of stimuli from the vibration of the sand and air around it should drive it crazy and act as the equivalent of a flash grenade to the face.
