Reynard looks around for a moment.
"Each other ...Hm. An excellent question."

Prim has finished setting up her camp.

Sienna went to Orchid, dropping a large bundle of sticks onto the ground.
"I brought us firewood."

"...?"

Orchid looks around the dunes, not a tree in sight. Where did that firewood come from?

The various groups pass the night, undisturbed in their camps. The sun rises, and the heat of the desert returns. A loud whirring awakens everyone, as a Vertibird passes over. It is flying straight north, landing in the distance.

However, for Russell, the Vertibird lands a few yards away.

Reynard waits for everyone else to awake and pack before setting off.

Russell presumably had a look at Nila's wound before the night truly set in. What was it like?
~The Morning, Probably~
Russell had never been one for sleeping very long, most days. Even if he was, however, it wouldn't have mattered right now because there was a Vertibird all the way out here, for some reason. He observes it, trying to discern who, or what, might be inside it.

Orchid gets up, clutching her stomach. She hadn't eaten or drank anything in about 24 hours.

The wound looked pretty bad. It was bloody, and looks as if something took a bite out of her arm. It seems to be getting a bit black, and not from a typical infection.

However, a couple of soldiers step off of the craft. From the symbol on their arms, and their armor alone, Russell could tell that they were from the Academy. It was the same stuff the guards on the carrier were wearing. "We've come to escort Initiate Nila to the Academy. Her condition has gotten far worse than expected at this point in time."
Winter and the Unnamed boy get up and start packing.
"Something must've happened to the North..."

The Unnamed Boy walks over to Orchid, holding out the slab of meat.
"Eat."

"Seriously, I can hear your stomach from here," Sienna comments as she grabs her things, preparing for travel, "Can't expect to travel with no energy."

[Akroma]

Orchid decisively pushes the meat away.

"Y-You aren't vegetarian, are you?"
