Nila nods weakly, as Nezart places her below a tree into the shade. He sits himself next to her, leaning against the trunk.
"Should probley make us a fire before nightfall."

Melodia lets out another yell, this time twice as deafening and loud.

This yell, this time, should be shaking even the locusts themselves, their internal organs or whatever passed for such in the Grimm being damaged by the mere force of the noise.

Argent will open fire on the locusts with a dispersion of Air dust.

The Raker, not knowing what to do with all of the disrupted sand, continues flying straight towards Winter and Reynard.

Winter has readied a Red Glyph.
"Now!"
She activates all of her glyphs, sending Reynard flying like a pointed missile into the Raker's mouth. He is completely covered in flames, caused both by the red glyph, and the friction with the atmosphere itself. He flies fast enough, that he tears right through the Raker, splitting the front end of it in half, right down to the midsection. Despite Reynard now being covered in a green goop, The Raker has been slain.

Everyone else absolutely obliterates the locusts, after some effort. Ye have seized the day! Well, it has become dark now, and a cold breeze rolls over. The sand screen in the air has settled. Winter stands, and brushes off the sand off of her.
"I didn't expect a Raker..."

"Do you perhaps think this might be a setup?"

"Doubtful. They're just not particularly common in this part of the desert."

[TheBiggerFish]

"Ah.  Well.  Night falls, we should probably find shelter."

[SOLDIER First]

Reynard calmly sheathes the Sands, wiping an amount of goop off his face.
"...Disgusting."

"No shelter out in these parts. Just smooth sand.... We could find plants or some sort of dead wood to burn, however."

"Yeah, we're probably going to need fire or at least a method of retaining body heat."

Sienna slings Metallica Conflagrate and begins pulling out dead plants.

Prim smiles and begins setting up her camp. The air around her is crisp and shimmers as if hot.
