[Off screen rolls] Violet, Ciel and Reynard find their bags slightly scorched a few meters from the train. Everyone else's bags seem to have been in their car still, which is now ablaze.

"..Unfortunate."

Ciel studies her bag carefully.

Argent checks to see how hot the fire is.

"We should put the car out.  We can probably recover at least some of the stuff.  If not all of it, depending on how lucky we are with the packaging."

The fire is being fueled by the fuel of the train. Needless to say, it's pretty hot, and it's not going to go out easily. And the train has been burning for... roughly half an hour now, given that it has been burning since the explosion of the engine. It's clear that any luggage that was still on board, is burnt to a crisp by now.

((Not all the fuel is in the engine. There's individual tanks under each car, each feeding into the tank in front of it, so the fuel eventually gets towards the front of the train. There was still plenty fuel left in the back tank. It just didn't get burned until the fire managed to reach it.))

((But wouldn't it either have exploded with the rest of the fuel or been kept locked off by the fuel line being closed?  And then exploded.  Even if the fuel lines were severed...))

"If you wish to recover ashes, I welcome you to try."
