Violet obviously gets hit by this. Even if she could safely use the timestop, she probably wouldn't have been able to react fast enough. She stands up. Instead of attacking further, she dusts herself off and puts her glasses back on, then showing her scroll. Her aura is almost completely depleted.

"I suppose you mean that in a literal sense right now?"

"No, but.....it would be funny, wouldn't it?"

Argent immediately shoves the shield outwards, maintaining a telekinetic grip on it, while dropping into a proper combat stance.

She did manage to reach his face, though how much damage that did remains to be seen.

((wouldn't his shield be attached to his arm with straps? If so, I am assuming he basicaly ripped the shield off his arm to avoid the attack.))

"..."

Orchid, arm first, climbs out of the shadow and unto the shield, dislodging Erebus from it. She jumps back into the chaos of the fighters around her. Another opportunity will present itself.

[SOLDIER First]

"...It would."
Slowly, he lifts his torso up, and assumes crouch on one knee.

((... Hm.  I dunno
I think I have a solution though.))
Argent, seeing Orchid disappear again, pulls his shield back onto his arm.  Two separate attachment points rotate as he locks it back into place.

He levitates a crystal of Dust to the ceiling.

Melodia also lifts herself, shaking her head and sitting on her backside.

[SOLDIER First]

Reynard suddenly stands up and gently lifts Melodia, princess style.
"Are you still tired?"

"W-wah! What are you doing?!"

[SOLDIER First]

"...Is this not how humans court each other? Helping you. You did say you needed a breather."

This time Orchid tries gives Argent no time to prepare for the next attack. Even if reattaching a shield was an easy task, he did it telekineticaly, requiring his attention and the focus of his eyes. Hovering a dust crystal to the ceiling at the same time, and he was perfectly preoccupied. Immediatly she slipped over the ground towards him and between his legs, stabbing at him directly from below, moments before the shield locked into place. Yes, she was aiming exactly for what you'd think one would aim from this angle. Weakpoints are weakpoints.

"Y-yeah, but it d-doesn't mean you just p-pick me up!"

Argent does not even have time to jump, but Orchid's spear hits a protective implement.  It most likely deflects around, slicing his chest shallowly instead.

He then detonates the diffuse mixture of Earth and Air dust from earlier.

A shockwave shakes his immediate area.

The crystal slams downwards, as well.

If it reaches Orchid in time, it turns out to be Water dust.

[SOLDIER First]

"...My mistake."
He coldly drops her and walks away sets her back onto the ground.
