As in, it uses both damage stats? Or does it use a specific stat based on how it's being used?
If it's wire, I'd say dex

Quote from: Dust Types
Dust takes different forms: Raw and crystalline. Raw dust is potent and less controlled, and is often times the type used in semblance. Crystalline dust is controlled but less potent, and is often used in conjunction with machinery and technology.
Dust can be more powerful and with stronger effects depending on the grade, which is determined by its fineness and density. Low grade dust has basic effects, but each tier of dust higher than that increases its effect and damage.

Primary
Fire Dust: Attacks deal -2 damage but also deal 1d6 fire damage the next turn.
Air Dust: Attacks have extra knockback and have a chance to make the target prone with a test of Dust Proficiency VS Speed.
Water Dust: Lowers [STAT] by 1 after the attack and the next turn.
Earth Dust: Attacks have the blunt effect and knockback. Can disrupt the ground to create zones of hindrance.

Secondary
Ice Dust [Wind+Water]: Attacks reduce speed by 2. Powerful dust attacks can encase something in ice.
Lightning Dust [Wind+Earth]: Attacks have a chance to stun enemies equal to Dust Proficiency *4 %, OR deal damage that pierces armor.
Light Dust [Fire+Wind]: Attacks can blind an opponent, decreasing their precision by 1.
Dark Dust [Water+Earth]: Attacks can create zones of darkness that increase dodge by 1,  OR decrease enemy's dodge when attacking by 1.
Sand Dust [Fire+Earth]: Attacks decrease Damage Resistance by 1. Powerful dust attacks can surround something in a sandstorm that deals damage over time.
Time Dust [Wind+Ice]: Typically doesn't deal damage, but rather create zones that decrease enemy speed by 1 or increase ally speed by 1, or other effects depending on its use.

Tertiary
Energy Dust [Fire+Wind+Earth]: Effects are broad, but are usually able to pierce armor or reduce one's aura defense by one dice.
Psionic Dust [Ice+Wind+Earth]: Often times doesn't deal actual damage, but rather illusion effects.
Polarity Dust [Wind+Fire+Ice]: Broad uses, but usually used with semblances. Can disarm enemies with a test VS Strength.
Gravity Dust [Earth+Ice+Fire]: Able to accelerate things quickly to add a momentum bonus, or create zones of negative or positive gravity, as well as have a chance to stun enemies like lightning.

Chaos Dust [Fire+Water+Wind+Earth]: The culmination of all 4 elements. The most powerful and most expensive dust. Can have custom effects, but is extremely difficult to use and can often cause self-damage to one's aura when attempting to activate it.

Could you clarify what stats each class give bonuses too?

Would Assassin up the Speed stat, or specifically the amount of spaces you can move?

Edit: And can the bonuses move a stat beyond the 5 max?

Re: Stat System

Uh... PN... adding a whole d6 for each point of strength or precision might be a little... busted?
Also, I worked off of the assumption that the roles boosted stats -- Fighter and Assassin boost Attack, but that is the only function of strength so it is essentially a strength boost, "Overall Survivability" sure sounds like Endurance (which is directly boosted by Defender), and Assassin boosts "Overall" speed, which sounds like the stat to me.
Also, Strength seems a little weak to me: Dexterity decides crit, hit, AND ranged damage, but Strength only decides melee damage
ALSO casters are a bit shafted if roles boost raw stats, since both listed things, mana and dust attack, are subsets of dust proficiency

so they give only bonuses, no drawbacks? And I agree, strength only has one use, every other stat has two uses. Strength needs a buff. ((And speed, which has 3 uses, need a nerf))

Typically, 2 points each form or 3 with two forms. Give stat increases or special effects, etc.

Yes, it's still in prototype. Classes might get negative drawbacks too, not sure. Ill address all these issues once I'm on a PC, so for now, give suggestions for improvement.

Yes, during an unusually cold day in hell. No regrets.

EDIT: And of course, sometimes she is even less subtle than that.
