A Message from the Richards Palace of the Glorious Atterton Monarchy to the Grand Engineering Hall, March 21, 1780

Glorious engineers of the Atterton Monarchy!  Our gracious king has decrred the construction of your grand halls for the creation of new weapons to win this war of independence and bring the whole of the islands under the Monarchy!  With what you give us, we shall bring true enlightenment to the savages of the Dunwich Meritocratic Confederacy and show the error of the ways of those who chose to remain loyal to the Empire!  Bring us victory for the Great King!

Wool Uniforms - These basic uniforms are made of wool and are dyed gold, the color of the emblem of the Atterton Monarchy.

Weapons
Infantry
Brown Bess Musket - A smoothbore flintlock weapon that fires a .69 inch (18 mm) shot.  It has accuracy variable to a range between 50-100 meters. These are designed to be able to be equipped with bayonets. (Cheap)

Cavalry
Saber - The sword used by the Cavalry forces and Officers of the Atterton Monarchy (Cheap)

Artillery
6 Pound Cannons - Smoothbore cannons taken from, or based off of the ones found in, the island's city and mountaintop forts.  Each has an effective range of around 400 meters. (Very Expensive)

Navy
Gun boats - Fishing boats retrofitted in order to support a single 6 lb. Cannon. (Very Expensive)

Transportation Infrastructure
Horse and Carriage - The most basic form of transportation.  Able to transport a single material resource for weapons production each (turn).

Resources
Grand Engineering Halls - Provides an ability to design a new creation and revise an existing construction each (turn).
The Hall of Production - Allows for promotion of production of a single weapon or other piece of technology for (one turn).
The Hall of Secrets - Allows for the usage of a single espionage action to be performed each (turn).
1 Ore - Large Infantry weapons (for muskets, greater than ~1 inch (25 mm)) are Expensive.  Artillery greater than 3 lbs is Very Expensive.

Hail glorious king, as a engineer  I think we should focus on a newer model musket. One preferable cheaper.

Why control the land when we can take the seas? I saw we create a more efficient ship that can move faster and carry more cannons

A flint locked musket gun, chambered in our standard 18 mm Musket Shots, 42 inch log, .69 calibre barrel, a 50 inch stock and a total length of 56 inches.

We could try a new ship model if you have a design. since all we have are fishing boats what would sink too easily.

At the current time, you are using the English Units system, not the Imperial.  Imperial didn't come into play until 1824 and your other option doesn't really come into play until 1799-1800.

Well we could try get imperial or something better or focus on weapon or boat.

I wouldn't be opposed to making that soon. I feel like we should make bigger, stronger boats first.

Eh, it's pretty much the same thing. At least in terms of being inconsistent.

If we get a steam engine this turn we could fit our fishing boats with it in production or revise stage.

Any specifics about the steam engine (ex. name) you want to provide, or do you want to leave it all to chance?
