...neither I nor my con-buddy were selected. I'd actually thought that pre-registration eligibililty meant we were guaranteed a chance to buy a ticket, but apparently not. So looks like we try again when the regular ticket purchase lottery opens up in ~6 months.

Decided on a costume yet? I'm thinking maybe Shredder from TMNT. Even if I don't get in to comic con this year, there are other cons.

And so once, again, it is waiting game time to see who gets in. I'm in the waiting room. Would be nice if there were more bay12ers who went to this. Seems to me a few years ago we had 3-4 or people in the thread.

Thanks. Not looking good. Saturday just sold out. Glad for the company though. This so seems like it should be a thing that bay12ers go to and have meetups at every year.

Did you ever take pictures of your costume last year? I don't think I ever saw them.

Lordbucket will be attending San Diego Comic Con 2016. Sadly, by the time I got in, only Thursday and Sunday nights were left. Didn't really want to drive down to San Diego and back twice. Figured Thursday was more likely hardcore geek night and Sunday more casual, so went with Thursday.

Now I need to decide on a costume. Hmm.

Anyway, so...Meph, looks like it's probably just you and me for bay12 again this year. Will you be there Thursday? Meetup?

Yeah, I'll be there Thursday. I didn't personally have a costume last year, although my wife and our friends did. Probably ought to post some pictures of that.

Not sure on a costume for myself this year yet, but I might make something.
