The sudden turn of the one she was following caught Alyssa off-guard, causing her to stumble. While she caught herself, there was no way she hadn't been seen. She stays up there, no longer trying to conceal herself, and waits for a reaction.

Marcos is certainly not about to chase after the fleeing woman, that is for certain. Who knows whether or not she's leading him into an ambush? Idly he watches her run for a few moments, stroking his bristles in thought before picking a direction at random and walking away from her. Hopefully he meet someone else more amiable to conversation, so that they can team up for the duration of this test. Better than running around by your lonesome, if you can trust each other.
