Marcos prudently finds someplace to hide and watch how the fight develops. If the fight goes against the monster he can always come in at the last minute to help out but running away if things turn sour would be much harder.

The lighthouse disassembled into hundreds of sheets of paper, swirling about like a storm, only to disappear orderly into a suitcase held open by a woman with glasses. She locked the paper away with a click.

She then draws her katana's from sheaths on her back and readies for combat.

The horror

Alyssa circled the beast, planning out her takedown of the horrible beast. It was far too large to be fought safely at close distance, but whatever option did she have?

Bravely she closed the distance. and swung her blades upon the creatures thick skin! [7] vs [5], causing a sizable cut, gushing with a foul smelling, greyish blood.

The creature raised one of it many fingered hands, and swung it towards Alyssa, so much faster than one would have anticipated from a creature of its size. Unable to dodge, Alyssa prepares to take the blow [4] vs [8], and is sent flying! Painfully she lands with her back against a rock, having taken 4 damage!

Thankfully she still had this weird looking gir..what was she doing?! Kirola was standing there, very clearly trying to manipulate shinsoo...but nothing was happening... Oh god no, she was one of the uneducated ones...she had yet to make a contract with the guardian of the floor...

Luna, blades drawn, engaged Sen in battle! Her twirling blades were fast, but Sens defence was far from paperthin. The seemingly random flapping about of the sheets was far from random, as they immediatly gathered hundreds of them all at once just in place to block incoming attacks. Even for a sharp blade, cutting through several books worth of paper was not easy, especialy just at the beginning of their arc, before they had proper momentum. But Luna, quick on her thinking, stepped forward at a range where momentum wouldn't matter, using her whole body to hold Sen in place! Unable to dodge in time, Sen is caught, and head-butted at point blank! [5] vs [5-1] Sen takes 1 damage!


Shaking Luna off, Sen was now on the offensive. The paper gathered in her hand to form a blade, which she thrust into the ground! What was she doing? Luna was doing her best to predict this seemingly random attack, but to no avail. The realisation came all too late, as her foot was pierced by a paper blade!


Sen grinned with a devilish look on her face...this wasn't over yet. The blade, made from dozens of small sheets, lost its straight, blade-like form and unfolded, like an origami lotus blossom - shredding Lunas foot and turning an almost small, clean wound into a large, ugly one. [2,1] vs [5,1]. Luna takes 3 damage from this grievous form of attack!
