1. Develop new bolt action rifle.
2. Use gold to buy mercenaries. Use the mercenaries to help take over the rest of Madagascar.
3. Develop camouflage for Patient Arstotzkan soldiers.

I probally should have bolded those last time. Also, I assume that we are only allowed to read our spoilers.

 The council, after much deliberation, resends its ambassadors to Arqubuzlpan, Arstotzka, and Elaed Glew. In addition, the Ambassador to Arstotzka brings with them offers of both a nonagression and a research pact, and the ambassador to Elaed Glew brings with them the offer of a nonaggression pact. A number of diplomats also scurry off on other tasks.


 After further deliberation the Council decides on its main focuses for the year.
 The Exploratory Forces  are directed to initiate exploration of Africa and the southern reaches of South America, and construct proposals on possible colonies in those locales.
 The Department of Armaments are tasked with developing a lighter than air craft using Hydrogen and the new cloth, which they are asked if it can be fireproofed.. They are also asked to look into developing clothing from the cloth, if they have time.
 Finally, a system of organized schooling is created across all the communes, inorder to establish a base of education across their proud nation.

"Nationally Triggered."
How dare they... how DARE THEY!? They refused the Goddess Empress AND killed her messengers of peace?! Fine then! If that's the case then these heathens shall know no peace! With bitterness in our mouths, we shift the gear towards preparing even more! new schedules for the Imperial Guards are made and reviewed for efficient training programs. Such as Drill Sergeants only needed to drill them on soldiering and discipline while Work managers will direct the flow of work when the Imperial Guards is on their turf, allowing the Sergeants some rest while getting people with actual expertise to have the Guards work.

Occasionally, they are praised for their job, told that they are doing the Nation good and that the Goddess Empress will be proud of them! Keep up the good work, Guardsmen! Funding for the Imperial Guards Training increase somewhat!


"Breaking the Ice[olation]."
Equestria sends three group of ambassadors towards the United States, The Commonwealth of New France and into the crazy frozen north of Plokhoy Ostrov to see if anyone is interested in co-existing and buying some good Equestrian-grown food and hand-made stuff. Our food's good! Promise! Just like Mother's cooking! We'll even bring some non-perishable food as example and demonstrate the skills of our cooks!


"Higher Education!"
Knowing is half the battle, and Equestria already suffered casualties! It is time that we increase the national IQ. The Government pour a good deal of resource and money into the Department of Education, more Teachers will be trained and schools will be opened, existing schools will have extra classrooms built and the study curriculum will be reviewed every 2 years to ensure that we're not teaching kids outdated irrelevant craps.

It is now mandatory that families send their children from the age of 10 to 15 to school for 5 years of education, ending when they are 16 years old where they will be encouraged to take higher specialized education either in military where they can be junior officers, science, education, engineering or they can go home and work with their family. That's fine too.

Families will be asked to pay a small amount of Tax for their children's Education. There will be no free Lunch at school because come on, Food are plentiful, everyone should have their own bagged lunch or just share with their friends. The Tax money will go entirely to maintaining the schools, teachers as well as rewards and praises for the Students who performed exceptionally well.

Equestria shall work Smarter AND Harder! Miners should be taught to at least wear helmets in mines and how to correctly handle their tools at the very least. As well as building support for the mine shafts.

Diplomacy: messages are sent to the Elaed Glew government offering a non-aggression pact.

Diplomacy from Elaed Glew: Non-aggresion pact accepted. The Kingdom also offer a deal, in which the two nations will support each other in colonial efforts against the natives and against other empires. Not necessarily military invtervention per-se, but establishing clear spheres of influence for both nations.

Arqubuzlpan accepts this, on the condition that the Carribean and the surrounding coastland is recognised as in the Arqubulpanian sphere.

Diplomacy: Arqubuzlpan offers trade agreements with Equestria if Arqubuzlpanian ships are allowed to restock and recuperate at their ports.
Diplomacy: Arqubuzlpan accepts the new ambassador.


1. Subsidise rifles. Release all people who were imprisoned for not having a rifle. If there are not enough rifles, establish factories to produce more armanents.
2. Alert the chiefs of the Carribean of the US enroachment and make it clear they have the choice of two evils: outright American conquest or Arqubuzlpanian influence. If they are willing to accept Arqubuzlpanian influence, order the navy and army to begin garrisoning the island. Use connections throughout the Americas to apply pressure on the American government and slow down their cultural/territorial expansion (from Gateway to the Americas).
3. Set up colonial settlements in Venezuela.

To Arqubuzlpan: All offers and tweaks are accepted. Additionally, I propose splitting colonies in the Americas. I shall support in colonising the entirety of North America, Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia, and the lands south of that border would be colonised by me.

Also, I request a loan to help me industrialize faster, so that we may exploit our colonies more efficiently.


To Plokhoy Ostrov: Non-aggresion pact accepted. The ambassador is welcomed with a festival to enjoy our improved relations and to improve the mood of the people.


To all nations: Elaed Glaw sends it's ambassadors to every other willing nation so that we may grow and prosper in peace.

1. I shall build the following factories in these regions:

Where there is access to iron, coal or both, I shall build steel factories.
Where there is access to cotton, I shall build fabric and clothes factories.
Where there is access to coal and quartz, I shall build glass factories.
Where there is access to fruit and glass, I shall build wineries.
Where there is access to grain, I shall build bakeries and liquor distilleries.
Where there is access to opium, I shall build pharmaceutical factories.

To further this huge industrial effort I shall take loans from private investors in other countries (including banks [especially national banks]).

2. I shall connect my two colonies in Africa by colonising the land in between them.

3. I shall send one of my smaller armies to station to protect against native intrusions. If we are unopposed, I shall order them to conquer more land in the west and in the north, along the coast.

Diplomacy: Arqubuzlpan agrees although a loan will only be agreed on if Elaed Glew agrees to embargo the USA and refuse to ally with them.

1. Set up the Instituto del Armada, a research department dedicated to advancing naval technology. The current focus will be the creation of faster/stronger/more efficient ships.
2. Begin development of machine guns.
3. Continue colonising Venezuela and Colombia. If there are no complaints or objections, give citizenships to any tribals in the colonies.

The Council, after some deliberation, gives out preliminary tasks for the year.

  • The Department of Armaments is tasked with continuing research into fireproof versions of the cloth, and the airships. They are also tasked with begining development of an easily produced semi-automatic rifle.
  • The Exploration Corps are tasked with continuing diplomatic relations in Africa, with the aim of uniting the locals into various protectorates. They are also tasked with attempting to make diplomatic contact in South America, since those plants look useful.
  • Efforts are started to form colonies in South America and Africa, preferably in locales the native peoples are fine with.

Diplomacy
Equestria is pleased with France's acceptance of trade, and will begin shipping food for them to trade for the much-needed Iron.
Equestria also sends best regards to the United States and is happy to be on friendly terms with them.

Arqubuzlpanian Ships are allowed to restock and recuperate at all Equestrian Docks, for the local price with a small amount of Governmental Tax, of course. Equestria is also happy to have a Trade Agreement with Arqubuzlpan, Their famed Rifles and other material resources are well-sought after in exchange for Equestria's famed preserved foods and crafts.

Elaed Glaw's Ambassador is welcomed, and told that the desire to grow prosper together in peace is mutual. They are then invited to try some local cuisines which are of course being offered to trade with for whatever resources or processed resources they'd like to exchange.


"Money for the People!"
The Equestrian government aims to increase the livelihood of it's citizens, with Food now being exported, the government shall buy many wonderful preserved food from families that does make them for a good price. Provided that they can bring it to the trading post, of course. We also encourages the companies to also buy from  the families selling in smaller bulks so they can combine them and sell it to us again in packaged form readied to be ship off to France.

Other resources are also being accepted in similar fashions, so that Families may have the much-needed income to support everyone.



"Infrastructure Revolution."
The Equestrian Government shall tasks for better roads across the nation to help ease the difficulty in transporting goods to the governmental trading posts, as well as safer travel in general. Train networks will be planned and worked on as well. Resource Processing Factories will also be started to help produce the tools the nation needed so the Nation will have the capability to work on guns as well.

The Government shall also commission shipwrights across the nation for fleets of merchantmen tradeships, so that the trading with France and other potential Traders go smoothly.



"This will be my rifle."
Seeing the lack of weapons in the Imperial Guard, the Equestrian Government forms the Imperial Munitorum research Department. Where smart people are put together in a wing of an Academy and work out how to improve or make new weapons and machines of war for the Nation. A reliable, potent and useful design prototype are requested to be tested by next year before mass production begins. Allowing some time for the Factories to set up too.



Demonstrating the Government's everlasting love for the People of Equestria, funding for Education is increased somewhat to also be able to buy locally grown food and hire local family members to cook at the School to provide for the students free of charge. The Education Tax does not increase, however.

No. Please don't make it look like an action with bonded titles because it makes it a little confusing.

Alright, I modified the post to be a little less confusing. Is this any better? I wanted to avoid the problem where other nations missed another nation's diplomacy towards them in the wall of text, so PC Nations will have underlines when called out in Diplomacy for me is that alright?
