"I can stop anyone's momentum entirely! I can also try stopping things like sight and hearing and such."

"I could freeze a few of them. I'll aim for the shoulder."

"I know we're expressly trying to keep them from, you know, noticing me, but if worst comes to absolute worst, I can turn invincible and unmovable, which I guess could block things if they start throwing things... which they might well do... uh, I've also got magic speed boots."

"Well, let's see.... Not much here, besides being big and strong and loud and attention-grabbing, da?"

6AR makes a vaguely conciliatory gesture but is otherwise silent.

"So, do you squids wanna talk to my partner now?"
"Alright. Here's a map of your route." The representative presses a button on a remote and a hologram of the route to the meeting place appears from the projector. "Your mission is to escort Miss Black and Mister Olhouser from here to there, wait for them and escort them back here where we can let them out the back door, free from prying eyes. As long as you don't cause any permanent or major injuries or, god forbid, kill anyone, you're allowed to do whatever it takes to keep the paparazzi away.

We'd normally drive you there, but all our vehicles are being diverted to deal with escorting injured civilians. Another Armored Rider attack earlier today, you understand.

.....wait, weren't you the guys who fought them off? Eh. Doesn't matter right now. You'll have to walk there, and I mean walk- flying is too risky, as they tend to like bringing in the press helicopters. You might also have to deal with superpowered paparazzi, from our reports; they don't seem to be part of the Union, as according to Union rules they could be fired for that, so we couldn't tell you much, but all the same, keep an eye out.

Asuka moves not."As crystal, sir!"

Simuna seems to have vanished, again.

Haruka nods.

Kyoko gives her a thumbs up, before turning and walking to her partner.
"Heeey-urk!"

Within a split second, Kyoko's throat is suddenly in the grip of a large crab claw, as the girl is hefted off the ground, choking while her tentacles flail in the air. The face of the creature is revealed; a blue-skinned octopus head, their mouth hidden in a sea of tentacles and their eyes a solid red, as they hold up Kyoko in the air before placing her between him and the others. The cuttlefish girl is clearly scared.
"P-partner? W-what are you-"

The voice of the octopus creature cuts her off. It sounds harsh and raspy, as if he were gargling while speaking. She coughs as his claw tightens on her neck.
"Weapons down or I snap her neck like a twig."

Asuka jumps up, barely restraining herself from transforming into Hero form on the spot. Parov Stelar should be behind her, speeding up her regenerative process.

[Chevaleresse]

Haruka shrinks backwards, raising her hands to show her lack of weapons. "W-we just wanted to talk. . ." All these weird animal people are freaking me out. She glances at Victoria. Is she sure this isn't part of a witch's barrier?

[Sanure]

"Hey, mister? How good is your hearing?" Tourmaline just asks this question with a simple smile.

"Do you think I'm joking around? I'll snap her-ACK!"
His hand is suddenly wrenched apart by Kyoko's tentacles, as the girl kicks him back into the alley wall, flicking around to face him with the others.

Suddenly, a similarly gargly, raspy voice echoes from behind the party.
"MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!"

Haruka moves over, but shifts into magical girl form again as a precaution. No weapons yet, though.
