Contagion flies through the air, with a trail of gas behind him. He throws down two vials, one covers the soldiers in a mist, and the second causes a massive explosion. Then he lands.

While waiting Ian turns to Alanis.
"So, you know what country this is right? And you have signal right?"

"Probably a Japan-analogue, and yes."

Ian nods.
"Cool, can I borrow it?"

"If you can use it I can tether you to my phone, but have you checked at all?"

Ian gives her a deadpan look.
"Alanis, there is one person here who you can presume to not be able to use a fucking smart phone, and she's stolen a glass from the club."
Ian says looking to Eirika.

"I'm not giving you my phone, I'm offering you tethering."

[SOLDIER First]

"I know how to use a phone, and I didn't steal this."

Kasumi returns with the drinks,

Ian rolls his eyes and reaches into his pocket. His eyes widen as he begins patting himself down. Finally he curses and punches a dumpster hard enough to leave an impressive dent.

"W-what is it?" Sachi inquires worriedly.

Mio, meanwhile, is sitting down, thinking.

"I must've left my fucking scroll back on Chryssa’s world."

"I don't think you could have."

[SOLDIER First]

"Your what?"

Are the ones who attacked the civilians still doing so? If so, keep on shooting them. If not, Victoria would intervene in one of the fights, probably Haruka's.
The Shadow Dimension's entrance seems to be about 2 centimeters closer now. Asuka did say it was expanding.
