((Because it's harder to do than straight up combat and requires the GM to basically be there for the majority of time the players are on which doesn't work when people have lives.))

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Yamal, meanwhile, is almost practically a monster herself, cleaving almost a full circle into the unfortunate souls Tourmaline throws to her with her hammer. Although these soldiers are capable of landing blows- and even to a tough girl like Yamal, they hurt- they're far too busy being downed. Half the time, the only reason they aren't dead is due to the rather tough armour they're wearing.

Well. Fine, then, leveling effect or whatever. Be that way. Yamal can into damage control, anyways. She'll just need to eat later. Eat a lot. Right now, smashing things. Maybe not quite inconsequential things, but definitely things that are pretty weak and pose little obstacle to the out-of-control-shipgirl.

"AHAHAHA. CRY SOME MORE!"

As she says this, she gets the bright idea to grab one of the fallen and use him as a projectile against his fellows. This is an excellent plan!

"Yes, the designers would have themes...Makes it less repetitive and stuff."

"It makes sense to me but I don't think anyone really wants to hear my opinion on the matter."

"It really is just like a video game sometimes. But it's not so don't even go there. Seriously, that'd be stupid."

[Art imitates life. Therefore perhaps the most refined art is a more interesting form of life... and perhaps the most interesting life bears a close resemblance to art.

However, you are living a life, not playing out a drama. And you must act the part, Alanis. In fact, even if you are indeed playing out a drama you must act the part of living a life. Even if you have no free will, you must act as though you do. Even if this is all an illusion, you must act as though it is real. For the sake of the sanity of those around you, at the very least, not to mention your own.

I believe we have been over this.]

...Notably, ITE is not visible to Asuka yet. Doesn't want to get Persona'd after all.

She [listens to something and] shrugs.

"Uh, lookit, distraction!

Where were we?  Going to wherever the thing is?"

Contagion shakes his head, snapping out of it. He sends some toxins under the armor of various mooks.

Dackly keeps pumping hatred into them, this time targeting the downed one specifically, She knows exactly what to do, and it will only take two more turns... To save time, Next turn, she uses Focused Wrath, using the hate she has put in them to glean their nature, boosting her int, and last turn, she uses Revealing Darkness On the downed one first, in an attempt to purge him of the negative influence, by ripping out her hate, mingled with the other hate, using the knowledge she has gained about the source of the hatred using her charm and good-intent to appeal to the core being within them to help her fight back.

Gozer Steadies himself and uses Gravity again, again, and again, trying to nab some of them in the incredibly weighty bubble.

"Try not to kill them guys, I sense something off about them!" she says as she slithers onto the emerging Gozer, let's see them try that with both of them working together properly.

Haruka yelps in shock as she's tossed aside like a ragdoll. However, once she regains her bearings, she elects to take advantage of her newfound distance from her foes. She focuses for a moment, leaving her guard down [Gamble] and calling a pair of dress-wearing dolls in front of herself. One looked like herself, the other seemed to look like Victoria.

Ian sighs and chugs his drink. Whether this is responce to the not getting to enjoy his drink or Alanis... being Alanis, is hard to say.

And thus, the whole crew is finally assembled outside of the ship. This party contains Volx, the Donchaka, Garnt, Anna, Big Daddy, and Alice.

"Glad y'all could make it. Hopefully this won't take long, let's go.

Act 0 - The Artifact
The Space Station

Aesford leads his merry band of Trespasser-Ass-Kickers down the space station, laying down an exposition on the way along the way.

"The reason I got you all together is that my scanner just picked up an anomaly somewhere deep in the space station, tucked away in a corner that no one would look at. According to my readings, there's some Anti-Trespasser Tech that's sitting right under our noses, obfuscated in plain sight. Crazy, right?"

The path they take leads them away from the bustling consumerist district on the space station, the institutions they frequent like the mall, the restaurants, the stores, even the iconic Dan & Bleebo's fade away in the distance; the space station could easily be a state, or even an entire world, unto itself with its size. They come to, for a lack of a better term, 'storage' district now, with endless rows of warehouse and containment units stretching both into the horizon and to the heavens. Despite the presence of some workers and the faint beat of steady machinery, the whole place is mostly quiet, any man-made noise drowned out by the sheer size of the buildings; the cry of the workers echoes off every surface. If it were possible for a space station to have a lonely breeze, this section would be a top candidate.

Initially, the warehouses are modern and sleek, even artistic, the logos of large corporations and conglomerates pasted on their sides. Aesford walks right past these, and keeps on walking as the warehouses begin to gradually diminish in both size and quality.

"It's this one."

The Cornerback stops in front of a derelict warehouse, sagging and broken. An official 'DO NOT ENTER - PRIVATE PROPERTY' sign lays on the ground, battered by rust and grime.

Aesford opens the creaking doors to the interior of the warehouse structure, opening up nothing but a desolate open space. With the buildings composition appearing as a mixture of concrete and wrought-iron, it most likely was built a long time ago.
It isn't completely forsaken though, as the party further investigates the warehouse towards the back they spot a red sphere resting on a pedestal, an immaculate piece of sculpted design that contrasts with everything around it.

"That's it! Let's grab it and get out of this creepy lil'-"

Aesford pauses. In his preoccupation with the sphere, he failed to notice that a humanoid shape stood behind the pedestal in the shadows, peering at the group. Aesford draws the 12th Man, its signature buzz filling the thought-to-be empty warehouse.

Chaka Chaka Pata Pon, Lament of Defence!
'Doom Doom Doom Doom'

Standing in front of the party and orb, the Donchaka raise their shields, prepared to block the brunt of whatever comes as well as they can, while Limidon plays the metronome on Volx to help keep time.

Aesford feels an only passingly familiar presence in the back of his mind, as barely heard whispers of the [Advice of the Strategist].

Victoria's psychological warfare.....doesn't seem to be working all that well, judging from the fact that they just seem to still be shooting at her just as much as they were before. Also, their shots HURT. Still, at least a shotgun round to the face to a few of them does stop them in their tracks. That damn armour's pretty good, however.

Yamal is having the time of her life, meanwhile, picking up one of the soldiers and chucking them into the mass. While this doesn't hurt them much, it does knock a few down.

Dackly gleans their nature with her stare, alright. It seems.....huh. Rather benign. That doesn't help her much, except confuse her as to why a person like this is shooting into a crowd of innocent people. Gozer attempts a gravity bubble to grab a few of the soldiers, but.....again, this armour is either anti-magical or damn well made, because even when slowed, they're still moving. Clearly struggling, but moving.

Evridiki looks over to Haruka, but, as the magical girl seems completely fine, spawning dolls in front of her to distract the opponents, she wagers she'll be fine for now. Instead, she goes over to attempt to take the armour off, attempting to pull the helmet off. It doesn't work at all, as Evridiki finds. The medic attempts one more frustrated pull before looking around and realising that Penelope's own armour seems quite similar, to the extent that the belt designs (bar a missing stylized wheel on the buckle) are identical. Maybe SHE might know how this armour is taken off.

Speaking of Penelope, the Armored Rider seems pretty fine, handling herself. Crouching down and using her shield as a prop and cover, she fires into the armored soldiers, bursts of sparks appearing at the point of contact as they're thrown back by the shots. She takes aim, covering Evridiki as she attempts to figure out what's up with these men.
"Don't kill them! We need them alive!" She yells.

Contagion's gas.....is pretty ineffective against the armoured opponents, given that none of it seems to be getting into the helmets. Unsurprising; these guys seem to have armour capable of withstanding sustained fire and batons capable of countering lightsabers, so it's unsurprising they'll have thought about toxic gas. Well, time for some more...direct measures, no?

6AR lifts off once more, attempting to use his jetpack to get free of the crowd. This time, it works, as he lifts one with the Force and throws him akin to how Yamal just threw another one of his companions....

....straight into the path of the oncoming Pluton, as the boy, having grown slightly larger, is cleaving his own path through the thinning mass of armored soldiers. His rampage, however, is cut short suddenly by an explosive shell smashing into his side, knocking the boy onto a nearby cash machine with the force of the burst. That stung.

Contagion sighs. He covers his allies in a cloud of smoke, helping them dodge the enemy attacks. He pulls out his AK, and fires at arms and legs.
