Chartre tries to inch away from Motya's patting but his reach is far too long and terrible. When he speaks, his drink's got to him more than before.
"Ohuhhh, I'm Chartre Alcole, an' I came fight thessse... world-desstroying "Treshpasher" things apparently in other worlds an' also apparently in spasse? And... I came with Anna and the bunch and... yeah. There was this... hallucination vision lady who said that to me. Yeah."

"That part was addressed to him. He's from my world... or close enough. I think we got summoned for real this time, no sabotage or whatever happened with the original group."

"How exciting! I'm certain that you will fit in just fine with everyone else! Once, of course, you are no longer suffering from the effects of intoxication! That almost goes without saying!" Motya matches Chartre's inching away step for step, so it looks like they're part of the world's slowest chase.

"Is that so? How interesting! How are you certain that you are here to stay with the rest of us? What evidence do you have to support this?"

"I can't really speak for the others, but the place that portal sent me to wasn't my version of my home. It was similar, yeah, but not the same. Something is keeping me from getting home, or at least it seems that way."

"Yeah, different types of magic.  I don't blame you, it does sound similar.  I'm technically a sorceress these days.

Sandra's modest but I will brag on her behalf and point out that she is one of maybe two or three actual healers on the team.  As well as an amazing chef."

Anyway, healing is good. I wonder if the healing magic from other universes could brighten a soul gem. . ."

"Possibly.  I wouldn't hinge any bets on it.  A lot of it is purely biology-y.

Yes, she makes food, y'know?"

"Very good indeed! I look forward to working with you! And on you too!" Motya laughs at their own stupid joke, making a sound like a cheetah playing with a blender.

We should talk strategy, really. I can fight Witches alone but if these things are really that bad then we'll have to work together, right?"

"Sandra, you're not giving yourself enough credit, really.

I think the strategy is mostly the DPS types nuke it and healers heal people as needed.  And tanky types try to tank."
