Wilson gingerly places his gun into her hand.

"Er, farm?"

"It's just... unexpected. Which is a pretty high bar for me, because I see lots of weird shit every day. How'd your calendar get based around football?"

[Sl4cker]

"I had a life before the military, you know. Made me strong."

[SOLDIER First]

"...Oh, right, farming."
He raps a few knuckles on his head.

[TCM]

"The invention of football marks the transition from savagery to civilization in my world. Before football, we were just...animals."

[Sl4cker]

Simuna sweatdrops. "What did you think that meant...?"

[Shadestyle]

She gives it some tender love and care, Literally in the former case.

Her mask is up for this, and her back is turned.

"Terrible horrific substance, it is as far as I know, a pseudo-orgaanic crystaline material with a liquid state, in all cases it is horrifically toxic, hostile, acidic aggressive and irritating, Once, a phazon crystal exploded during an experement, I gathered up the resultant metal slag, and in a separate experiment, the metal exploded again."

"It is almost incredible to think that pirates have managed to exploit it as an energy source, and weapon material without as many consequences as should be expected."

"I need the info for other reasons however, related to it's biological properties.  There is a room on the ship that you should probably avoid if you don't want to waste 10 minutes tingly all over in a room full of slime for that very reason."

"It also spreads like weeds, just from the samples I have now, I have managed to produce enough to easily fuel my study of it, albeit it is no more stable than when I started..."

[SOLDIER First]

"No, I... forgot what it was."

Then Dackly talks more than he does.

"Sounds like nuclear power, but with more exploding and.. slime...?"

[Powder Miner]

"I mean, they have football where I come from... but it's not even the most popular sport."

[Shadestyle]

"Good analogy, but this stuff is just so much more unpredictable."

"But boy does it have potential."

She hands over the now repaired shooty gun, where petrification/hate solidifies things, love loosens em up metaphorically, allowing Dackly to use her magineers glove to it's full potential.

"What kind of potential?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Thanks."

He then listens in on this Phazon talk.

"I'd like to see what I could do with Phazon..."

[Shadestyle]

"It blew up twice, I used a drop of water with it in it to flood a room with possibly sentient possibly perverted slime, It is toxic in all forms, radioactive, burns with a touch, resistance-piercing to anything not made from it, has solid, liquid and gaseous states, and is a cellular being to boot.  Honestly if I were a less sane pirate, i would probably try to make a steroid out of it or something insane."

"I also found a being who somehow drained a pile of the stuff directly. So that lends credence to my theories."

Dackly ponders this as well

"I have a temporary lab set up in the ship hangar, And there should be some phazon stored in the Captain's Room, in one of the closets.  I also have some in Gozer's Possession, hidden in the fish's mouth to protect from radiation."

[SOLDIER First]

"Fish?
You mean those scaled things that live in water?"
