They might note Contagion a little farther down. He has a straw in a shot glass, that is going through a small hole in the gasmask. He's sitting alone. His stance suggests... a melancholy mood.

AR6 and Victoria then step into some sort of transportation aircraft. Once everyone has taken their seats, the aircraft "takes off", but without any windows on this ship, it was likely just an immersive illusion and they weren't moving at all.

New options appear on the HUD:

"CHOOSE A CLASS: SCOUT - ARTILLERY - DEMOLITION - SNIPER - MELEE - DEFENSE - MEDIC - STEALTH"

Victoria looks at the classes, considering, before deciding on Scout.

Victoria is given a laser submachine gun, laser pistol, and a jetpack. Her clothes are replaced with a lightweight suit of armor. There is an option for armor colors on the HUD.

AR6 is given a laser pistol, a laser knife, a laser garrote and a cloaking device. His armor is even sleeker than Victoria's. Again, there is an option for armor colors on the HUD.

The aircraft doors open to reveal a harsh winter landscape, the views of the people inside are obscured by fierce winds and ample snowfall. A few are already trudging towards the outside world. The HUD gives some statistics: "630 RESPAWNS REMAINING"

Go for camoflague against the prevailing terrain colors.

"This, this is going to be fun." Victoria says, grinning like a madwoman. These poor bastards with no actual combat experience. She even had a similar loadout to normal, with a jetpack replacing magic flight and lasers replacing magic bullets. She hovers over "green", before deciding on appropriate camouflage. She glances around to see how many teammates she has, before sprinting off, as a scout is supposed to do.

"Speaking as someone who is trained in, essentially, laser sword, how does a laser garrote even work?"

6AR starts scanning the area.

Which means they turn around once.

Then they check the mechanics and get to work.

Victoria stops mid-stride. "Put it around someone's neck, from behind. Turn it on. No more neck." She says, and then continues on.
