Kyle nods and opens a portal to the freshly depopulized city of Versailles. Unsurprisingly, it is empty. Emptier than a North Korean prisoner's dinner plate.

Chryssa pokes Anna.

Looking like he suddenly comprehends everything (even if he doesn't actually), Chartre nodded. "Aaaah, that would explain it, wouldn't it?"

It's only now that something seems off. Looking around, the few Faunus in the makeshift town are missing, as well as a few of the humans.

Orchid is already sprinting towards Anna, Chartre, and Chryssa, a dire look on her face, "Where's Falu? Where's Ian and Gale."

Ian and Gale have snuck off to make out away from prying eyes.

A sharp pain suddenly overtakes Ian, as the blunt side of a waraxe collides with Ian's head, "Man this is too easy. First I get the targets, then I get not one, but a whole city's worth of those miserable beasts, and to put the cherry on this cake, I get the remaining beast and her little master. It's a good day to bring about the end." Morana laughs as Ian loses consciousness and Gale lets out a muffled scream as a rather bulky grimm grabs her.
