Look, shapeshifter guy, this entire thing's a sham because you aren't really a tribe of people here, and since I KNOW you're a shapeshifter, I KNOW you can shift out of this form. I'm not going to just sit here and work under your fucking delusion, I've dealt with enough changelings to know otherwise!"

"What would defending ourselves do, when the court is so obviously determined to lynch us and the witnesses and half the justices are the same person?  I refuse to submit to your jurisdiction.  Kthxbai."

And with that, Alanis drops a Kinetic Shell over the kangaroo court that blocks sound (but not air).

The protesting Donchaka outside continue protesting, not sure what the issue is, but happy to complain nonetheless.

The Edonchaka panic as a result of being imprisoned again. However, panic turns to cheering as a new face comes into the scene: an ethereal gas like figure, like an odd cloud, featureless except for two pockets and a curved indention that function as eyes and a mouth respectively. "I've come to rescue the Edonchaka."

"Man, fuck this. Wizard chick, drop that shell, I'm leaving."

Penelope leaves the room, looking to Contagion.
"Thanks, by the way."

The shell is over the court, and making it silence.

Not over anybody else.

"I'm going as well, have to track down someone..."

Alanis exits, heading where Sandra went.

The shell dissipates after approximately two minutes.

Being that Evridiki is IN the court, this doesn't do a lot for her.
"Can't drop your shield-thing for you. Seriously, let me out."

Ghost Man takes both of the tribes as well as Evridiki by moving through the barrier, encasing everyone inside, and then pulling them out successfully.

((But seriously if Alanis can hear Evridiki, she's not in the shell, because it's soundproof.))

It doesn't work.  The barrier blocks Ghost Person as well.
