Contagion tilts his head.
"Odd... Are you immune to toxins?"

"You were saying something, earlier, Evridiki, right?  I seem to recall failing to respond to that!"

"You could say that. Maybe I built up an immunity after going into battle zones so much. Heh, the things I do for the sake of journalism...."

Aesford rubs hand head against his temple.

Contagion grunts, putting the syringe up.
"Right... Well... Where are we, Penny?"

To Aesford:"What?"

Penelope frowns at being called Penny, but shakes her head.
"Well, we happen to be on a ship, in space."

"Huh? Oh, yeah. All you have is fiction like our universes, even if it's exactly like it, but we're not actually FROM your fiction. My station killed those ponies from that ancient show and yet the ancient show still didn't have an episode about them being brutally killed on a space station."

"I sense that... as I sense you... upset for some reason."

"No, but I bet the server logs have that round in them!  In other words, a reference not a crossover!  Especially as you're from a game and the ponies are a TV show!"

She's quite exuberantly cheerful!  To an absurd degree!

"I don't recall you naming a preference... but apologies. Penelope it is."
Contagion nods, inspecting his belt, confirming that there are no other open canisters. He rolls up his sleeve slightly, revealing a small metal ring in his pale skinned arm. It opens, and a suction noise comes from it, as it sucks up the gas lingering near the vent. He rolls his sleeve back down, and shivers for a moment, a hint of pain in his voice.
"Mmm..."
