Wilson gently takes Yamal's hand and kneels down as one does to royalty.
"You are correct, my Queen of Yelling and Booze."

Yamal pouts. "Hey, I'm not THAT loud. Now kiss my hand." After a moment, her painted lips spread into another huge grin. "What? If you're going to do that you might as well go all the way."

"Slightly. Though, I don't have any requirement to eat or drink anything. I just feel like drinking to forget... despite it having no effect on me. The name's Ashley."

The grinning shipgirl laughs, grabbing at Ashley and trying to pull her in. "Arktika-class Nuclear Icebreaker, Yamal. At your service. Come now, you must at least like the taste of alcohol or something! You can't just drink if it is literally meaningless to you. That's kinda... anti-climactic? Unless it's a habit. Habit I can understand."

"A tragedy I cannot relate to. But that is unimportant. We shall MAKE NEW FRIENDS." Yamal grabs both Wilson and Ashley and stuffs them into a rough three-way hug, downing a bottle of vodka along the way somehow. "And we shall enjoy them. And drink with them. ANd maybe even sleep with them, da?"

Ashley lifts the vodka bottle to her lips, and begins to chug.

"Of course. Pure Supernatural does not react favourably with the Mundane, except for when it is Eldritch. The other three types must be transubstantiated with the Mundane so that they can resist it." After a few moments Alice realizes how confusing this must be to everyone and adds, "It is quite complicated and varies greatly between the different forms of the Supernatural. I apologize if I am not being clear enough."

"What's bluespace? Well, I'm not a scientist, so the best way I can describe it is the parallel space where space and time are weird, and we've figured out a way to tap it to teleport. Or at least to teleport REALLY SHITTILY."

"Oh, I understand. Bluespace is a form of the Supernatural which you use for teleportation. How fascinating."

It is, indeed, a proper verb, used for magesighting.

Alanis's magesight picks up, for want of a better term, a freestanding wave of magic occupying the same space as Alice. It is not radiating any energy or doing anything other than exisiting, but you can't keep that much magic in one place without it subtly affecting things around it. "My apologies, but I wasn't paying attention. Did you say something to me?"

Yamal smirks. "I'm not sure about that. It's quite simple! First, you look at a man or woman or ship or boy or girl or tarantula or eldritch abomination, and you ask yourself: My, is there anything about this person or object that I especially appreciate? Just ask Wilson! Why, I'm sure he's thinking of it right now!" She shoots him a wink, taking a swing of vodka for herself.

"The Supernatural? I'm afraid you're going to have to explain that one to me. Jury's out on if the Space Wizard Federation uses bluespace or not for their magic, but I'm pretty sure that the cultists, at least, don't."

Ashley lowers the bottle, now empty. She looks depressed.
"I just... had the l-love of my life killed right before my eyes... Not but 10 mortal minutes prior to me coming here."

"Mortal minutes? Is there a difference between that and immortal minutes? Well. That's a damn shame nonetheless. So drink all you want. You clearly deserve it, da."
She gives Ashley a little pat on the back. Shit happens.
