Ian turns to the friend of Mio's who hasn't said anything in a while.

"That's.....rough. I mean, some of us have rough stories, but.....that's bad."

[SOLDIER First]

"These, obviously, are not what my country's clothes look like. They were made for me. I do not have anything else about myself to hide, if that is what you meant."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Mio's expression is still unreadable.
"I see."

[SOLDIER First]

"...You have every reason to be upset, Mio."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

".....you had every reason to hide."

[SOLDIER First]

"But not to hide that from you."

Ian nods.
"Yeah... it gets worse too because one of my teammates, my girlfriend Gale, died about a year ago. Crazed huntress type locked her in a burning building and made me watch... that was... that was bad..."
Ian's voice gets kind of high pitched towards the end, like he's gonna cry. After taking a breath he's back to normal.
"A-anyways, I'm over it now."

"You didn't trust me."
Hikari and Sachi look a little shocked.
".....you sure you're over it?"
"I'm sorry about her...."

[SOLDIER First]

"I should have, especially since you had no idea what Grima even is."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Something like that, anyone would feel the need to hide."

Ian nods shakily.
"I... I'm gonna go sit down for a bit... normally I'd do a bit more effective things, but you guys dissapprove of it..."
Ian sets down the dish he was holding and walks back to the living room.

".....you do that. We'll wrap up work."
Hikari nods to Sachi. Sachi gives him an apologetic look, before going back to helping with the dishes.
In the living room, Chizuru is still telling Mio's little brother stories while Yuki watches.

[SOLDIER First]

"Mm.
..I don't need my mask or Ylissean clothes any more, but they're all I have. Everything else I owned was at the camp before I was taken. It's rather upsetting."

Ian goes to an unoccupied couch and collapses on it face down.
