He waves to her as he sits on the couch.

"Big sis does it all the time when she fights monsters! Do you fight monsters too?"
He looks over to Anna next.

Sora waves at Ian as he walks in, while Ayane barely gives him a cursory nod. Mio nods at him.
"Hello, Ian."
"Well,  if that's the case, you're enjoying yourself while you're here. That's my order."

"Yo. Be careful around ENG, he's started threatening to kneecap people for flimsy reasons."

[Twinwolf]

"Big sis does it all the time when she fights monsters! Do you fight monsters too?"
He looks over to Anna next.

"Yeah, I fight monsters too. Not the same ones, though, and there are more of us fighting them."

"Yo. Be careful around ENG, he's started threatening to kneecap people for flimsy reasons."

"Noted. Any worse than that crazy wizard dude?"

"Mhm.  Maybe you could make a copy of the manual, or a diagnostic device or something?"

"That's not too bad of an idea, though most of the time we have to do it in combat conditions. This means there's rarely time for a machine to do the diagnosis, and even less time to act before something tries to destroy the body in full, if it's not obliterated already.
At the very least I can compile a basic manual on revival and application from my own knowledge. Got anything to write with?"

Mio frowns. Ayane grumbles.
"What is it with your group and its tendency to attract mentally disturbed people? First that drunk creep, then Miss "Burn Down Everything And Kill The Rich"- and apparently you're not off, Ian or whoever you are, my sister apparently caught you throwing grenades at squirrels- and now one of your guys is threatening to shoot everyone. At least that Idou guy's only problem is being another Chizuru, which is just plain noisy.

How the hell did Mio run into those kinda people and think 'they're excellent people to save the universe with'? It's like the universe is trying to get her killed or something, if the Vertex won't do it."
"Ayane!"
"I'm only saying the truth."

[You are. When I look at you, I see suffering, pain. Someone who needs comfort. Something that needs to be loved and helped. My very nature cries out to me, begs me to do something. I can't ignore that, any more than you can feel joy.  Although I should point out to you that I cannot actually believe that, no matter how hard I might try. I suspect I am literally incapable of believing something like 'someone exists who does not want to be happy'.]

"Well, presumably he's in full control of his mental facilities. So, I'd say that's a little worse. As for how Mio ended up with us, I suppose it was just bad luck."
