Dackly nods.

"Then he is our first known obstacle."

She clamours onto Gozer, and He asks.

"It seems that this place, beautiful and sorrowful as it is, was a resting point, rather than our destination."

"If there is any decorum to be upheld, I would like to know, as I plan to construct a statue and altar for Nyx's reverence on my journey."

Gozer asks, ready to leave.

Kyle scratches the back of his head.
"I mean... He's more the third or fourth one if we're counting the angel and the elf... And the golems..."

The paladin gestures for Gozer to stay there for a second before rushing off. After a short bit he returns with a black gem.
"Here, put this in the altar when you make it and I can assure you it will feel Nyx's presence."

[Shadestyle]

"Thank you very much, we will be off then, to our... kind of noble but not really quest?"

Gozer scratches his head as he gratefully accepts the gem.

Dackly carefully takes the gem and weaves it into her turban for safekeeping as she puts it back on her helmet.

"Well I mean, assuming he is progressing at the same rate we are, and has to clear the trials the same as us, he will be the first thing we encounter, most likely."

Dackly and Gozer leave, once Kyle and his companion are ready, and continue towards their destination.

Kyle shrugs and goes with them.
As they leave the paladin shouts after them.
"Don't let doubt stop you on your quest, it will all work out in the end!"
Weird. But that's par for course with religious people living deep in the woods isn't it? As they're walking Kyle checks the tablet.
"Dave says that while we're doing this, him and the pirates are going to the north pole to... fight the leviathan? Cool."
Looking to the sky, the group would note that it's around noon. As they venture further in they note that the trees are becoming thicker and the forest is getting darker. It's kind of unnerving in a way.

Between Dackly's armor, Fishbyte, and Gozer's soul, the two are lit up like a night light, either way, the two of them have an air of satisfaction, if the paladin believes in them, then they do too.

"I am glad we were able to help him regain confidence, that will help him so much in his troubling time."

Gozer starts to chuckle, before it breaks into laughter at Kyle's claim.

"Sorry, I was just imagining myself trying to decide what to do with a levitation statue."

"Probably for the best we did not take part in that hunt."

Dackly and Gozer continue on, trying to shake off the light unease with satisfaction.

Kyle chuckles at the image.
"And I doubt I could politely ask a leviathan to join me without getting some important bits eaten."
After about ten more minutes of walking the group happens upon a wall of trees. A literal wall of trees, as they can't get through. Walking around to the right they find a door with two of the centaur women from before gaurding it. They look quite confused at the sudden presence of the group as they start whispering to each other.

Mio continues existing near Eirika.

Eirika does the likewise action to this.

Gozer walks up to them.

"Let us through.  I am an earth elemental, and we have need of your part of the key."

The two stop talking and turn to look at each other. They look back at Gozer and without warning, he's mostly stuck in a tree. Great success.
"No."

[SOLDIER First]

Eirika clears her throat randomly.
