Chryssa heads to the portal.

The portal was closed, but one push of a button and some configuration on Alphys' part caused it to open into a spiral of blue and green, illuminating the room.

"For the uninitiated, what should we be expecting?  Both travel, and on the other side."

Ian jumps through.

"For the uninitiated, what should we be expecting?  Both travel, and on the other side."

"As for travel, you won't feel a thing as your atoms reassociate! As for the other side, I'm not exactly sure. Good luck, okay? I should be able to stay in touch with you over there though, so you're not completely alone."
Ian stepped through, and found himself dizzy as he stepped forth into another world. He felt a cold breeze drift past him as he stepped upon green grass; it seems as if the portal opened into a forest. Shining above he saw the grinning sun, with all of its strange and creepy feel.

Alanis boggles.
"How did you know it was...if you...huh...?
Oh, whatever.  I have network, anyway, so I can just wiki the...Well.  Ugh.  Creepy.  Oh well, too late now!"
Alanis enters the portal after browsing for about thirty seconds.

Ian looks up, shrugs, and then boosts himself into the air to check out the surrounding area.

Chryssa walks through the portal, then proceeds to look around.

They looked around, but saw nothing but endless forest. However, to the east, they felt a strange vibe.

"Plot... Hook... Senses... Tingle...  Yeah, let's just go that way.  Also, watch out for spiders."
Alanis draws a shield about herself and starts heading eastwards.

Chryssa follows Alanis, drawing her blade.

Suddenly, a lizard-like thing resembling a toad and a tiny hooded figure jump out from the bushes, sighing. Jerry.
Jerry walks out behind them, "Ugh, the wifi here sucks."
"Oh my god you guys suck at this. Attack them already."
"*Sigh* whatever, Jerry," the Lizuan said.

The Lizuan claws at Chryssa, dealing 3 damage.
 "niiiiice damage there."

The Magime fires a flurry of magic at Alanis!
 "Wow, this kid has 0 res? nice minmaxing bro."

But it hits a shield Alanis quickly put up, destroying it instead of hurting her.
 "Wow, making perks to make your weaknesses strengths. Nice munchkining, bro."

Jerry does nothing.
