[Round 2: 21+6+4+2+3+1+2=39 vs  TN: 80] It make a little more sense now, but it's still just a pile of crystals that use Harmonics and Resonance...

[Round 3: 39+7+3+1+2=52 vs TN: 80, Fail] Eng understands some of how the Gem-tech works. It uses a mix of vibration, Harmonics, and Resonance to allow the gems to communicate and preform functions. He thinks he can replicate this with fiber optics and some silica crystals or faceted glass.
