The capacitor stores the electrical charges from the pirate tech, the Harmonic crystals then convert the energy into various frequencies of vibrations, and the crystals then use that new signal to preform various tasks. In reality, the entire console is a large computer chip. Genius!

Confident he can tap into it now with his newfound knowledge, he would modify the transmitter to interact with the crystals around it via slightly less complex transmitters, and turn it into something akin to a nexus. he would also attempt to attach a touchscreen for the others to use, albeit with his permission and periw's.
