Finsib doesn't exactly succeed, given that one, he lacks the materials, and two, he hasn't bothered to gather any. Of course, the fact that it's a GYM and not a custom-made room to handle whatever the heck a 'mana-forge' is meant to be doesn't help.

ENG succeeds in identifying the hilt and frame. It seems the hilt and frame are meant to go together, and that there's some sort of circuit that runs through the frame that the hilt completes. Perhaps you should attempt to pair them back together.

It's an alloy of some sort, but one unidentifiable to the ACE tool. Probably because it doesn't exist in your homeworld. It'd probably say the same thing trying to analyse Mio's gauntlets or something.
