If we are sacrifices, then we might as well try to last for as long as possible (which fighting between each other isn't going to help that), but I think we were summoned here to stop something big from happening. I mean we all seem to be at least slightly combat orientated..."

Alria gives Mio a nod and points at the pile of wreckage that was once a ship.
"Alright, some of the bigger, curved pieces could work well for the body. We just need rope or sinew or some other kind of shit like that. We build this thing and the whole process becomes a lot fucking easier."

"Are we entirely sure we want to hold together something meant to fly into space with a bunch of rope?"
"Somehow, I doubt we are sacrifices, and we'd probably be more like guardians against trespassers, so to speak."

"I must disagree! I am not combat oriented in the slightest! I am merely a humble technician, dedicated to stretching the science of biology to its utmost limits! If this nebulous force wanted a fighter, they would have taken a SNUGGLEDOG or HUGGLESNAKE! Not someone with a lack of combat expertise such as myself!"

I can already think of several improvements to be more effective in a fight!" The monster grins back at Chryssa, looking rather unconvinced by her weak argument.
