Motya wanders their way onto the scene. For a (almost) two-meter tall monster, they are surprisingly quiet on their feet. "Ah! Are we all trying to kill each other now? How disappointing! Our very lives are at stake and you all want to hasten your deaths! I expected better of all of you." They reach out with a manipulating limb and poke at one of the petrified persons. "How odd! It is not every day where you see someone encased in stone and are still alive afterwards! Are the other statues living as well?"

[10+4,10+4,12+4 vs Cumulative TN:40] Periw spends a few minutes processing the Metroid tail before finally attaching the parts to the Axe, replacing the blades with much more durable Metroid bone, re-wrapping the handguard and finally using the spikes from the tail to decorate the pommel. When she finishes she hands the brand new 'Bane of Metroids' to Alria.

"If I don't petrify EVERYONE who was involved, then the people in the right would have tried stopping a fight with force again next time, and I didn't know who was in the right anyway, since I can't read your minds, intents, or what would have happened if I had let the 'good' ones free initially.  Better to just freeze the group as a whole."

This won't be sorted out peacefully by avoiding the problem, that will only build up resentment for later. Better to simply take their weapons away and allow them to solve it on their own than constantly suppressing the fights until it spills over."
