((I wonder if the ADAM harvesting is more efficient for statues that Gozer has 'unlocked' since their life force is literally pouring out in a sustainable manner. Even if technically speaking, ADAM doesn't exist outside of rapture, healing tears probably make a decent compromise.))

((The answer is no. ADAM is produced by special sea slugs and Little Sisters (via having parts of the slug imbedded in their stomachs). However Adam is apparently recyclable, so the Little Sisters were given syringes to extract ADAM from dead Splicers because reasons.
