Idou turns away, arms crossed, looking down, in an even more dramatic way than before. He subtly commands Mint Gale to make his clothes look like they're billowing in a nonexistent wind. "You say you'll be able to prove we're just characters once you get an internet connection... Fine! If you do so, I'll believe you. But until then, allow me to say something sane...". He looks behind him, at Alan. "What you're saying is bullshit. Pardon my language."

"You're completely insane. And what the hell is 'google'?"

"Phfhah.  I can prove the existence of such with D&D.  The thing I can't prove as much is exactly HOW fictional we are, but based off of the bit where we're seeing canon characters and frankly implausible railroading.  Cough.  Spontaneous cave-in removing us from a fight.  Several of my actions being outright ignored.  Cough., the probability someone's rolling D20 or some such is high.  Also, cut the dramatics, would you?  I don't have a spotlight or brooding shadows or such going, you do not get to play with winds to get a damn plus-one to your charisma check."
There is a sizzling flash as Alan's magic reacts to his emotions, producing a light tending towards octarine and infrared.

"No, we're both sane, but I have more things that don't fit in my worldview that would cause me to realize the inherent fakeness of this world.
It's a search engine.  It takes input, looks through a vast amount of data, and returns stuff that is likely related to that input."

Eirika, instead of answering, opts to look into Alan's eyes.
It is not a kind look.
