Anna blinks, finally putting away Vindicator. "Just checking, nobody is from the same universe as those things, right?"

"Same... universe?". Idou seems very confused.

"Meanwhile, the Exposition Fairy seems to have left the building.  Or cave.  And how DOES one get a Stand anyway?

Do you have a multiverse sort of concept?"

"Don't remember. Determination?". Idou gives a sheepish smile.

"You mean... this isn't Japan, or Earth, or even in the same universe as Earth?!" Idou takes a step back, hands raised to chest level, in sort of a 'surprised pose'.

"You mean... this isn't Japan, or Earth, or even in the same universe as Earth?!" Idou takes a step back, hands raised to chest level, in sort of a 'surprised pose'.

"Even if it is, it's not your version.  Or mine, I'm sure.  Although.. Check your phone."

"Dammit, now I have to tiptoe around fiction when explaining...Oh, I give up.  Fourth wall was bound to break SOMEWHAT anyway.  Prepare to have your worldview messed up.



A lot of us are probably from stories of some sort, or, generally, make-believe in someone else's universe.  Probably mine and-or his, or (Mio) hers.

I don't know if I'm included.  My powerset is vaguely like something else that is fictional, but it's fictional in my universe and somehow also... Aw CARP.

"How else do you explain the fact that some non-marginal portion of us are from Earth, several of which deny other Earths, I know what Metroids are, I know what both Big Daddy and Little Sister over there are called, the whole bit where if I had any data connection, I could probably search up half of you in an imstant, the fact that whatshisname the old wizard has spells from D&D, the fact that I'm very similar to the Sorcerer class in the D&D players guide, and I'm sure a myriad other things?  Also, the fourth wall is the idea of a separation between characters in a work and the reader.  Or the player or players, in the case of a game, which I think we might be in.  Thus I'm trying to yell at the GM or GMs in the hopes that doing so will get them to get that weird exposition guy to actually exposit.
