((To clarify PN’s situation: He isn’t accepted just yet. His actions don’t count yet. I apologise if I seem a little dictatorial, but I’m not sure how to treat a character who’s technically ‘in’, but not ‘accepted’. Yet.))
Turn 1:((Optional Battle Music))Mio:
Mio’s God Hand connects with the Trespasser Metroid’s side. The creature screeches as the force of the impact sends it aside, sending a rippling shockwave through it and dealing
17 damage.
On her back, one of the petals of the flower starts glowing. At this point, everyone realises Alan’s assertion is incorrect; the beast doesn’t seem to be invulnerable, unlike earlier.
PeriwThe Gem mechanic turns around, facing up against the Trespasser Metroid with as much courage as she can muster!
Which isn’t much. She hides behind the rest and fires off a blast at the creature, dealing
12 damage and stinging it badly with an attack.
JohnJohn attempts to use his expertise in the area of assassination, honed by many years of taking out targets for his government, to assault the Metroid. His first blow hits for for
16 damage and John falls back to a nearby corner, attempting to find the opportune moment to deliver a fatal blow.
Gozer/DacklyDackly bites at the Metroid, hoping to gain purchase with her fangs upon the jelly-like essence of the creature. She almost utterly fails to do any damage, dealing
5 damage. The venom didn’t even take, either.
Trespasser MetroidThe creature, by now irritated by the barrage, retaliates in kind. Suddenly, the Metroid begins to emit a loud, irritating screech, deafening everyone in range and dealing
5 damage to everyone.
BisnifThe old wizard joins the fray, throwing five Magic Missiles at the Metroid. All five land, dealing
27 damage to the Metroid.
GarntNot to be outdone, the Warrior of Sunlight hurls a mighty lightning bolt at the Metroid, summoning up the strength of miracles to do so. It…..somewhat disappointingly, fails to do much of anything impressive, dealing
8 damage.
Big Daddy/Little SisterSurging forwards, the vast protector slams its drill into the side of the creature, dealing
9 damage.
IanYou ready yourself, aiming in the direction you wish to go, charging up your launch.
EirikaThe swordswoman is also not to be outdone, with her double strikes piercing the jelly of the Metroid. The first hit does
10 damage, the second
11.
AlanAlan surges in, delivering a literal cold snap to the Metroid. It doesn’t seem unnaturally bothered by the attack, as it’s dealt
13 damage. He feels his magic surging within him as he does so, as if it were getting stronger by the minute.
It occurs to Alan that this may not be an actual Metroid- or if it is, not one specifically vulnerable to ice.
AnnaComing in from above, Anna delivers a seemingly-mighty attack with her Vindicator and boosting it with a shot, dealing
12 damage.
On second thought, not so mighty. The impact does
stun the Metroid for a turn, however.
However, suddenly, the Metroid starts emitting a black, toxic-looking ooze from its body. The effect is clear when the cavern floor sizzles at the touch of the fluid. However, you’re not entirely sure the effects of said fluid are limited to contact…..
