Seeing Alanis shiver, It That Embraces soon wraps around her properly, the many-armed Primordial hugging and comforting both her and the remnant, keeping them warm, close to her heart, letting them feel the touch of skin around them.
It would probably say something, but in the end, it deems that nothing is worth saying. For now.

 "I would not be surprised, places in the multiverse have varieties of ways to express themselves. Timelines jumping left and right, starting and stopping."

Alanis stills as It That Embraces wraps around her.  It wouldn't make the problem go away forever, but it would do for now.

"Very true.  It's just...Weird."

 "It is. That was what Gaster was trying to figure out, the nature of the multiverse itself. Of course, so were many other brilliant scientists like him."

"...Well...We should probably, I don't even know what to do.  I guess we go now?"

 "Obviously. The lab's self-destruct timer is at 56 seconds."

[TheBiggerFish]

"Why does no-one mention the impending explosion?!  And why does every really big science lab have a self-destruct on?!"

Indeed. Getting out of here is pretty alright. Though ITE probably isn't quite as panicked as Alanis.

They began to run out with haste, however the elevator wait seemed to long... ten seconds and counting, they estimate. They won't make it.

...Alanis has an idea.
Blue portal on the wall.
Open a peephole into the shaft, then get through to the ground floor.
Then orange portal as close to the exit as possible.

Then get everyone out.

It That Embraces doesn't seem too concerned with the countdown. Probably because they only heard about it from Intellect and it is Intellect's lab. Even if it's going to blow up, it seems safe to assume it's not going to blow up until its owner is clear, doesn't it?

But seeing as she doesn't voice such ideas, she is perfectly content to have Alanis get them out.
