IT That Embraces has been following along. It does not seem to fear the strange magic, or the darkness- it helps that It is quite visible even in the pitch black. When presented with the metallic structure, It knows what must be done. It pauses, first to check on the driver of the vehicle, and then to wrap Its Embrace around Alanis one last time, before finally following the two of them down the elevator.

[(I/It That Embraces) do not understand. Unfamiliar with {W. D. Gaster}. Unfamiliar with {the entity that claims to be a remnant of W. D. Gaster}.] It's followed Alanis all the way through her wormhole, quiet and curious most of the way, examining the laboratory corridors with the eyes of someone who looks in from ten dimensions higher.
It speaks, too, to the 'eye' in the console, the 'remnant of intellect', watching it use those weapons against Alanis to little effect.
[You are the one who has been removing?stealing?kidnapping? people from this world.] Not even a question. It That Embraces seems rather certain about that, narrowing Its' many eyes and looking directly at the console. Or the camera. Or whatever's left of his soul. HArd to say. Piercing stares may or may not require actually looking at you, in terms of three dimensions.
[(You?Thinner thing?Remnant of Gaster?Ghost of shadows?) will not hurt (my friend/Alanis).] It interposes Itself between the Anti-Spirals and the sorceress, determination burning within It, strong as any human. Or perhaps it simply doesn't want to let go of that warmth and comfort.
