Dackly says to Sandra as she approaches.

Sandra blinks, disconcerted.
"U-um... d-do you want me to, umm?"
She gestures to the wound with a feeble little flick of her wrist.

"Nah, that would be a waste of your incredible power.  I already put a little of that magic ice on it."

She brandishes Fishbyte, showing off the pale glow of ice magic, and the inactive tazer device.

"I have the ability to encase and transform things in and into stone, and Gozer can draw the life force from that stone, since he is an earth elemental."

Kyle doesn't seem to notice the two talking as he continues.
"It was actually quite horrible, I was just on the cusp of my 30th birthday when it happened. And you know, if a man is a virgin for 30 years he becomes a wizard. That's what I always to be, so I could get back at the church and the chief God without having to worry about my own safety for the most part. Anyways, apparently the gargoyle was working with a particularly cruel Demoness. She kept me locked down tight as a paladin's drawers until and hour from midnight before she took me. Well, she tried, she left out some books on how to properly bind and seal a demon in the room she was keeping me, I guess she wasn't able to read, so I did that, realized that I could have just been a warlock... and now I'm here painting creepy symbols on a wall in a druid compound."

Dackly shrugs

"I am glad you weren't eternally tormented by a demoness."

"Old grouchy here has his own story, tried to eviscerate me when I got a little too curious around an old temple, so I turned him BACK to stone, and the rest is history."

"Guess turning to stone is different than being turned to stone, either way, Gargoyles are grouches."

Kyle nods.
"Easy as dicks to avoid though. I mean, we're talking about something that has to make the most of one night to find someone to eat. I'd be a bit cross about it to if that were the case. Of course, you're not going to see me picking a gargoyle over something that's actually docile, like a Kobold."
