"That doesn't seem good."

"No, really. I-if you like, I could try to...um.....read them, to see what we need to do to get past them."

[SOLDIER First]

"Read them..?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"I could....um, try to read their minds....if they have any."

[SOLDIER First]

"..if you think that'll help."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Well, it's worth a shot, isn't it?"
Sachi pulls out her pocket watch.

[SOLDIER First]

"How will a watch help..?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Sachi ignores her as she places her thumb on the top knob. She closes her eyes, breathing in deeply, her face appearing as if in deep concentration before....
"Persona!"
She presses down hard on the knob.

The sound of glass breaking fills the area, and a rush of blue energy swirls around her, obscuring her from everyone's sight.

When the energy clears, Sachi is no longer alone. Floating just behind her and holding a parchment in front of her eyes is a tall, ethereal, armoured woman. Within her abdomen area, instead of exposed skin, a tiny, ever-moving loom is visible, threading golden string through itself constantly. Her face is obscured by a large, winged helmet, with the front replaced with a constantly ticking clock. Behind her, several golden threads float in the air, resembling that of cut puppet strings.

"Analysis activated."
Sachi uses Analysis on the creatures holding the lanterns to discern their intent or desires.
((SB, I'm assured you still have Sachi's sheet and thus know what Analysis does? ))

[SOLDIER First]

It seems like the first one, the one that moved, means to take the flame in front of it once one of the group moves.
The other three intend to do the same with the other flames and hide around the temple to delay everyone.

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"They're here to delay us. If we can stop the one who moved first from taking the flame in front of him and then keep the others from the other flames, we should be able to keep going without any problem."

[SOLDIER First]

"Alright... I can see them as a wolf, so maybe everyone else keeps them busy while I take them down?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Well....I can see them too, but I can't move from this spot and, well, I'm not really good at fighting myself. I-I'm sorry I can't help much more."
Sachi sounds a little sheepish. Mio nods.
"I'll handle the one closer to us. Link, you can get the one closest to the door, right? Do him first. The rest of us will keep the others distracted, as I'm not sure that anyone apart from Sachi and Link can see them, and only he can attack them.

That sound like a good plan?"

[SOLDIER First]

"But how are they to steal the flames? They aren't corporeal."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Store them in their lanterns, likely. Or just hold them in their hands. If they're invisible to us, who knows what else they can do?"
