[SOLDIER First]

"Oh, good! I got lucky! You two were the first people I visited on the ship. I'm here to deliver a letter."
He reaches into a small backpack, removing an envelope. It explodes as soon as Mio takes it
The envelope appears, for all intents and purposes, to be just an envelope. Sealed with wax, of course.
He hums a short tune as he presents her the envelope.

Eirika watches silently.

[Sanure]

Periw walks into the Station Library, muttering about a part being attached to something it shouldn't have been and whoever did the repair needed to be kicked into space. She notices Mio and Eirika and walk up to them, "Who's the clown?"

Mio examines the envelope.
"Who sent this?"

[SOLDIER First]

"I'm the postman!"
He salutes.

"Oh, that was Mister Link. He's a big hero, you know. He even has his own sword and shield!"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Mister Link.....never heard of him. Are you sure you have the right Mio?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Oh. Well, he lives far away, so that's understandable.
Wait... You are the Mio the Hero? _{I can't believe I messed up a delivery...!"}

[IamanElfCollaborator]

".....I am a Hero, as that could technically be a job description rather than a title...."

[SOLDIER First]

The postman signs in relief.
"Yes, he said you were a Hero. Does that mean something else here...?
Well, either way, I've finished my delivery, so unless you have other questions I should be off."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

".....how did he know who I was? Did he say anything?"

[SOLDIER First]

"He's your father, remember? He's your ex-husband, remember?
No, he didn't say. He just told me to give the letter to Mio the Hero and I didn't ask him anything else. Customer confidentiality and all that."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

*stabs* nobody can know
Mio nods.
"....thank you, I guess."

[SOLDIER First]

"Of course. I am the postman, after all. Well, I'll be off."
The postman turns around and runs away in that same silly fashion as before.

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Mio examines the envelope gingerly, before opening it. If there's any sort of trap in it, her Fairy Barrier should trigger to block it anyway, so it's all good.

[SOLDIER First]

Link pops out onto the floor as soon as it's open Nothing happens, Fairy Barrier-triggered or otherwise.
The letter is just a letter.
