With a fwip and a funky looking portal sequence they arrive at their destination. After looking around they would not that they're about ten feet in the air. Just as the realization sets in they start falling to the ground.

Hammerlock Jogs out after Sinfib and Big Daddy.

"I'll be filling out a map for us as we explore, so we are able to avoid places we do not wish to be, and do the opposite for hunting grounds and part locations."

"We seem to be missing three parts, which the Claptrapper unit is feeding into my ECHO device as he assembles some equipment and an encampment."

Sinfib smells something really odd.

"Ahh, if my informant was correct, that smell indicates a nest of Sheargrubs. They may surface given a good vibration, supposedly, the males have very impressive mandibles, capable of latching onto their prey and cutting through plants, though the females merely radiate an irritating scent."

He Looks through a worn journal, flipping to a certain page.

Back at the Ship, Zer0 is beginning to wake up properly.

"What happened just now?
There was a flash, then, my head...
And yet, we survive?"

He looks at ENG for an answer to his question.

ENG's Oz kit is managing how much pure oxygen he receives from the oversaturated atmosphere, it should work indefinitely on this planet.

Claptrapper gives Little Sister an Oz kit for her comfort, and goes outside as well, harvesting grasses which are bound together with digistruct technology to make strong fibers.


Gozer uses a Demi bubble to slow them down.

"Their only strength is in numbers, even a smaller creature can get the jump on one of them in a one on one confrontation."

"The females are apparently without hardened mandibles, and feed on plant nectar to survive, making their scent the only defense mechanism."

He marches forward, causing the female sheargrubs to wriggle out of the ground, scurrying around aimlessly in some evolutionary pitfall.

They hardly even come up to Sinfib's knees, though there are a LOT of them.

The smell is strong enough that Sinfib's eyes water, he resists attacking the harmless things though, and follows Hammerlock further down the path.

Hammerlock notices two odd beasts directly in their path, they are devouring a third.

"A Pansarus pseudoculii russus, the Dwarf bulborb. Much like wolves and skags, Simple intimidation or stealth would allow us to pass them."

Back on the ship:

He nods and shakes his head to ENG's Questions of health in order.
