The Petricake breaks the scanner, the cake being far too powerful.

Alan would note that it's been almost an entire day.

Dackly Reassembles the scanner integrating the cake properly.

Gozer goes to Mona's bizzare.

Alan plunks down a test tube.
"Worth a shot..."

[Sanure]

The cake once more breaks the scanner. the cake is far too powerful for lab work.

The test tube does not work. It was not missing.

[Sanure]

Gozer finds Mona just now opening the store.

[TheBiggerFish]

"Grumblegrumblefetchquestgrumblegrumble.  Who's not...  Oi!  Periw!  Can you come down here and tell us what we're missing?"

[Shadestyle]

"Hmm."

Dackly Reassembles the scanner without a petricake.

She instead uses the Urn from Alan's force field experiment.

"Ahh Mona, Great timing, I just have a few quick questions, what does every Magitek lab need, and What were those books I gave you about?"

[Sanure]

Mona looks at gozer, "I wouldn't worry too much about the Lab. It will be working sometime after you head back to the ship. As for the books, they are records of planets the Space pirates visited before phaze corrupted their home planet. It's quite boring and doesn't really say anything too important."

Periw walks into the lab and looks at Alan, "What is it, clod?"

[TheBiggerFish]

"What's this lab missing?"

[Shadestyle]

"OK, thank you Mona, anything I desperately need to know that won't trigger my naive shonen protag denial?"


"Hi Periw, I took note of your complaint, so I got the gang together, and we are constructing a magitek lab in response!"

"It is missing something though."

[Sanure]

"Have you supplied power to the lab and a way to harness mana that isn't from one of you clods?"

Mona thinks for a moment, "Hmm, Don't try to pet the next cat you see." She smiles at Gozer.

"Hmmmmm..."

"Nope, But those aren't exactly in ready supply. I guess my Fishbyte would count as both, but then I don't have a fish."

"I don't trust myself not to blow it up if I did try to harness the power of fish either way."

"Any ideas?"


"I won't try to pet the next cat I see."

[TheBiggerFish]

Alan thinks about this.
"The electric stuff is plugged in to the ship.
Guess we need to go buy mana batteries from the Bizzarre now."

[Sanure]

"I could set up a crystal heart, but I will need it encased in a protective shielding to prevent it from being tampered with. I'd rather not have a part of the ship destroyed just because someone couldn't keep their hands to themselves." She is still holding a grudge...

[Shadestyle]

"Hey Alan remember that thing we did?!"

"Let's do that again!"

"Where do you want the crystal heart room? Or is it small enough to be in here?"

Gozer heads back.
